I just this evening received a email that the P-40 cockpit set has shipped. Alright!

I think I have to make a clarification here. The site has several different classifications for items. One, which I took to be in stock, is "Available Now". I went back and checked and found that means the item(s) will ship in less than 2 weeks. So they are NOT in stock. My misunderstanding.

Yes Peter. That sort of thing can really hurt a business no matter what they are selling.

I have decided to build this kit as one of the P-40C's flown by Welch or Taylor during the attack on Pearl. Should be fairly straight forward. This is all I have gotten done so far as I am waiting for Kitlinx to send me the CMK cockpit. Sean at TopNotch Custom Masks is doing the side numbers, etc for me. Should look good! But right now I'm killing time waiting for the CMK set.

Don't forget about the quarter windows. They are okay for a B/C but not for a F.

I don't know Dave. He didn't say so nor was there a notice on his site.

I would recommend to him to be more prompt at answering messages.

I just received a email from him. They didn't have the items I ordered although the web site said "In stock"". He's now got one of the items and is expecting the other on the 16th. Not my idea as to how to run things.

Have any of you had dealings with these folks? I placed a order a week ago and have sent 2 requests for info but have had NO replies and no notice of shipping. I understand they took over the stuff from Roll Models. John

The F-16 is my favorite although they are all good looking builds. Nice work!

I no longer have the parts. It might work out but it would be a waste due to the fact that the quarter windows are all wrong. You would still have to remedy that so I'd just recommend using the Hasegawa E or M for a F conversion.

Some VERY nice models. Good work. I appreciate the help on the masks. He says they should be done in about a week so I should have them in about 2 weeks. No big rush as I am just now getting started on the model.
