  1. Yep. After I put it on the SOD I walked away ........ and decided to build another Corsair! LOL Just the thing to get the bad taste out of my mouth.
  2. Thanks you Jeff. I really appreciate your nice comments. That is one of the main things that makes building enjoyable.
  3. Okay. I have HAD IT with this SOB. Back to the SOD while I still have some hair.
  4. That is fine by me. I prefer it that way anyway.
  5. I left the "other" site a while back too. Sounds like a LOT of sour grapes over there now. Over and out!
  6. That's coming along really well. Should be a real beauty!
  7. Thanks! I wish I had known that before I scratched mine. Oh well. Thanks Danny. One of Trumpeter's better kits.
  8. Thanks! I'm glad to see you here on the bright side!
  9. Thanks Ernie. I should finish assembling the wings shortly. Some fit headaches.
  10. Thanks Peter. Much easier for clumsy me!
  11. If Harold does make the pod then I could have saved myself the effort. No, I didn't add the scope. Isn't it down in the rear fuselage for the radio operator? Would be very hard to see so not really worth the effort.
  12. How about this P-47? Available in 1/72 and 1/48 but, as far as I know, not in 1/32.
  13. Looks like some nice stuff. I'll have to check out his site.
  14. I find the solution to be: attach the "lips" then insert the vanes one at a time.
  15. Now I find this creates a problem fitting the "lips" (E8 & E9) to the intakes. Re-thinking this now.
  16. Agreed! As a example, here's a shot of the intakes and louvers. The kit PE pieces are VERY fiddly (a good example of the cuss-factor). I decided to use little strips of sheet plastic instead.
