  1. Ernie Bravo🏆 Absolutely a brilliant build. In In your capable hands and skills, the Helldiver is a fantastic replica of the real deal ... beautifully done.
  2. I've ordered from BNA in the past and their pricing, service and shipping is excellent.
  3. Chris Canopy masking looks perfect and nice going. I've been masking the Kingfisher canopy using strips of Tamiya tape and the front windscreen part took over two and a half hours! Gee, I just love masking as well.
  4. Jerry Thank you for posting the photographs of your display cases and collection - simple brilliant work and what a pleasure to see. Mine by comparison is plain Jane and nowhere as inspiring. How many years of work has it been?
  5. Oliver Your work is beyond com prehension - simple incredible. I've never, ever seen a model with such detailing - it easily museum quality work.
  6. John Nice work on the front office and I'm sure you will have no problems at all correcting the missed seam - always find those missed seams after the fact as well. Geez, the dihedral looks way off and surely needs to be corrected. Please go slow on your fix so I can take notes as I'm going to have to do the same on mine.
  7. Some pretty interesting subjects are being kitted and so good to see.
  8. Chris Thank you for posting - an amazing story of heroism and flying skills.
  9. NBW's. Try Tichy Trains - model railroading has all such detail items for years.
  10. Neil Loads of prep work and fit test fitting but in the end, it all comes to getehr and pays huge dividends. Looking good
  11. Carl Great PE coupled with a talented builder is the correct formula. WOW, those Meng NBW's look amazing and surely saved the day.
  12. Bill Nice progress on your Kingfisher and it seems KH went out of their way to frustrate the builder. The P&W looks so good and detailed then the fit/installations issues set in - KH never yields any ground. I'm so envious on seeing how crystal clear your canopies look after working on them and that there are mask sets available of your choosing. None for the old Monogram kit and I'm over two hours of masking just the front windscreen with just one panel left to do. Of course, I still have the three other sections to do.
  13. Scott Nice progress and it's hard to tell about the part misalignments in the photos - your workmanship is shining through.
  14. Chris Some mighty fine progress on the Big Cat and the front office looks so good. Holy Smokes, how big is the Cat anyway? beware of those voices and keep to your plan - all will work out perfectly. I'm getting closer and closer to building the Border Lancaster and her overall dimensions are approx 24x38 - how does this compare to the Cat? Only way I can display the model when finished is to have a display case made just for the Lancaster and then build a shelf in my studio for the display case. Any ideas how you are going to display the model?
  15. John Thanks for the book reviews and info.
  16. Thanks Mike ZM's Fw190 and ICM B-26B Marauder have me pumped.
  17. Ernie you're so right. When the automotive industries as an example became involved in productions and manufacturing, tanks, machine gun and ships, production skyrocketed with increased quality and reliability; the sheer numbers were incredible. One of the saying of our war effort was 'factories win the war'.
  18. Just to show how correct Yamamoto was, WWII aircraft carrier production: USN ... 115 Japan ... 18 It was a case in both theaters of war, the US just out produced everyone with numbers that were over whelming, plus standardization of parts.
  19. Paul With you 100% - all it takes is a few pairs of fresh eyes to review the instructions and on a complicated kit, do a test build from them.
  20. Kev Nice choice for the GB and looking forward to following your progress.
  21. I'm sure your build will be the equal of mine, just go slow and enjoy the journey
