Carl It's always rewarding to learn more about other cultures, their traditions and celebrations.

John Nice work on the interior and the IP looks just fine. -
Thanks Carl for the update - never knew about the Chinese New Year celebration lasting that long.

Sure hope it is earlier then that but when it is, it is. Thank you for the update.

Any news as to when the Spit will be released? patiently waiting - pure fantasy.

Rob Let me guess .. you're a Cowboys fan. I'm Big Blue fan, the Giants since I was a little boy and they got destroyed by the Eagles. My other NY Team, The Bills also lost and now I have no idea who to pull for🏈

Tim and Rob Welcome aboard and looking forward to enjoying your build threads. You are going to feel right at home.

Carl An AC-199, that surely would be nice. -
Gus Nice start on the Tomcat and the front office looks so good.

Gaz Nice progress and sometimes research and knowing what should be and isn't causes all sorts of issues even procrastination while you mull over what needs to be done and how far you actually want to proceed. I know you're a huge NFL as I am fan and with the playoffs now through the second weekend, my Saturday and Sunday build time has approached nearly zero. being retire I have a lot more time during the week but doctor appointments and the like take up so much of my time these days.

Chris I've also started using Black CCA and it's amazing. Longer working time and you can see where you have applied it and even more importantly, where you missed. When using it for seams, after sanding you see a black strip, so you know the CCA is there - great stuff.

Jeroen Terrific choice and I'll be along for the journey.

Exquisite modeling .. brilliantly done.

Rob Originally, I was leaning towards the tri-tone scheme but you started me thing about the Pre War scheme and that's all it took. I discovered one extra bonus so far building the Kingfisher: the Oldie but Goodie kits from the 1960 and 70' shed a new light and appreciation on the incredible kits of today ❗

Rob Awesome PE work and it looks so good. PE work of this level is something I have never mastered. I'm working on piecing together decals and markings for my Kingfisher as she looked with her Yellow Wings aboard the USS Arizona.

Revell P-51D "Short Fuse"
Peterpools replied to JohnB's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
John Nice start on your next P-51 - as you surely have the Revell issues solved and under control. Alway appreciate the bio, which adds to the build. -
Maru Many years ago, I was a very active member on LSP, differences occurred, I asked for my membership to be cancel and left. Seeing you here now on LSM surely brings an abundance of sunshine and so many of our old friends are now following and becoming members. Enjoy, be well and welcome to your new home.

ProModeler 1/48 PBY-5A Catalina + Goodies, RFI
Peterpools replied to CANicoll's topic in Let’s Get Wet Group Build.
Chris I'm right with Mike as if you removed any resin from the inside of the tail to lighten the load. -
Kev Outstanding progress - just love your neat, clean and methodical work. Agree 100% that when reference material(s) at odds with the kit manufacturer and other builds, it's a major PITA. If i feel my reference is reliable and accurate, then that's how I go. Gorgeous base - your woodworking skills are exemplary.

Chris Brilliant work and nothing like treading into the unknown - No question your plan of attack was logical and worked out perfectly. A nice steady hand and the cuts were right on the money. Of course, I can't express how much I appreciated all the detail photographs of the tail replacement. Just glad my presentation/update style worked so well for you.
