    Yes, or any white powder of similar grain. That is a good question, I never had to neutralized soda before, also there was nothing acidic on my models that soda would react with. LAst time I used on Merkava tank while making the anti skid surface, mixed up with white glue and Tamiya extra thin cement, no reaction whatsoever .
