  1. Tragedy indeed. Ignorance and ego killed them all.
  2. Nice and clean Leo. Thanks for sharing Steve. Cheers Martin
  3. Lovely detail, if I may suggest Eduard's Brassin legs as a great addition to this flawless build, they are highly detailed and slightly "shorter" in weighted configuration. Cheers Martin
  4. Finally !
  5. Sweet. Can't wait
  6. Important question. How do you like you garage Ivan, any pictures? Cheers M.
  7. Perfect. Exactly what I needed, Ive been collecting shots like this for a while in hope that one day, when I grow up I should have enough to reproduce Ch. Brown's ship. Thank you for posting. Cheers M.

  12. good point, I don't know. here is a war-time picture showing plating behind the pilot sear, rather metal, then wood.
  13. As close as you can get. Exterior was naturally restored. 42-72843 was built at Consolidated San Diego as B-24D. Assigned to 512th Bomb Squadron. Flew 56 missions between 20 September 1943 and 10 June 1944. Named as "Strawberry Bitch" at Herington Air Force Base by Flight Engineer Sergeant Haberman. Nose art painted at San Pancrazio, Italy. Stored at Freeman Field, Illinois after WW2. Purchased by National Museum of the USAF in May 1959. more here before restoration

  15. Business as usual, sunstroke after 2 hours of snorkelling , sleepless night, cold sweat and all of the related jazz. And today is raining

  20. No highjacking at all Jeff, I like to talk about cars and your input helps a lot. Corvettes are awesome and I truly wish to have a bigger garage and financial freedom to enjoy them :). We finally saddled down in the hotel room at the Crown Paradise Resort in Cancun. I am in a great company of my two ladies, hoping that we can all exhale in next few days and take a new fresh breath of relaxation and sun. Regarding the C7 vette, I kinda like the radical approach. Corvette was always special, above regular muscle cars and the mid. engine configuration ( although unorthodox) keeps it right there. If you ask me to choose between Lamborghini or C7, I wouldn't hesitate. OK, I would take the Lambo, sell it and buy two C3s
  21. Yeah, I got little angry and left in dismay / disappointment . We are heading to Mexico tomorrow, so I told him to finish it before our arrival on 15. We shall see.
