Seriously Martin, I have no idea how you find the things you find. Those are awesome.

Next section of white is on. I still need to do a bit more work on the filler port after priming it again. Once that gets wrapped up I can keep painting. This is only the first coat of white, it will get cleaned up and I'll spray over this again.

What black is that on the stab? -
Yea, that's what I meant to describe. I'll use leveling thinner to remove almost all of the mr surface leaving a little band that hopefully looks close.

Spine and tanks are on. Mr Surfacer will make an excellent representative sealant like I see on the conformal tank photos.

I'm very happy to see this one back on the bench. Keep it going!

They have all kinds of colors and metalizers. Is it enamel, lacquer, or acrylic?

If he was holding an exacto knife instead of swords thatd be great. -

Started working in cleaning the spine and rescribing lost areas. I also installed the gun port and started to work in cleaning it up. To me, the spine and conformal tanks are stand out features of the "Sufa" look so I'm really trying to make sure if get those looking clean. I also started to clean up the Zacto intakes. These are absolutely beautifully crafted parts.

What are the chances of our 3d printing guru doing some smaller squirrels for us? Kind of be fun to have them in build threads and completed photos. I'm also thinking of starting a "squirrel mafia" for our meetings at contest/nationals etc... -

Oh it's a real kit. Found it on ebay... I'm very tempted to track one down and make it the official insignia of the "squirrel mafia". -
What do you mean by two part? Is it an A B type mix?

I HATE painting white, but this is coming out alright so far. It'll be a lot of paint, dry, buff, paint again.

Heck yea this is awesome! -
I'm glad you guys are joining in. I figured this wouldn't get much interest actually. I started on prepping the upper fuselage parts. I joined the spine halves and trimmed the conformal fuel tanks. Fit certainly isnt Tamiya, but it's not too bad really. A little squeezing and some Mr Surfacer should leave a good result up top. Tomorrow is paint the Mustang day then while it dries I'll come back to this.

I'm constantly blown away by your painting. The realism your portray with your painting and weathering, in my opinion, is unmatched. -

Well dang, now after seeing those color schemes I want one of these. Hello Christmas present. -
1/48 F-16 pitot probe makes a perfect 1/32 Mustang racer pitot. Also, notice the removed nav lights since Bardahl didn't carry those on the wings.

I heard someone mention we need to build more jets around here...
