Not very exciting update... I'm pretty much done building. I want to keep it simple and not have to weather around a bunch of stuff. And...it's green. Gaz

The added brushwork adds much needed depth and looks great! Gonna put a figure with it? -

Heh... I didn't get you. It was google translate. When I jokingly called the missus "mon petit cheval"... she wasn't impressed. My French only extends as far as Napoleon's soldiers. Other than that... please... thank you... and a few words from an ELO song.... which I dare not try to spell on my own! Gaz -

A lot of 109 lovers hate the Bouchon. BUt I consider anything Messerschmitt a thing of beauty. Rock on! Gaz -

"CLUNKY AIR" might make some question their ticket purchase!

I hope this isn't a phrase common to your lifetime.

I've decided to build the armored component of my stash by purchasing older Dragon kits to avoid the DS tracks. At my club meet today, this baby showed up: about 27$ US. And!.... It came with an Aber metal barrel. Gaz

Holy hell! How can there possibly be more details???

I just went looking for other Russian Suvarov stuff. Here are some posters: Phew! I really didn't want to redo it! Gaz

Hi Rob, thank you! I worked off a profile I saw online.... and you're the first person to notice. I actually used google translate and I see there should be a difference. but there isn't. I don't have an original photo to work from, unfortunately. I hate the thought of stripping it again. Thank you! I've been thinking about this and trying to reason out the technique in my head. I know I could use cotton, but it would require a perfect, continuous sprinkle of snow. Otherwise, it'd look like crap. I'll try a few tries. I've seen other modellers use cotton for other effects, too... But when you can tell it's a cotton ball... you know your plans have gone to hell. Cheers! Gaz

Beautiful Engine! But like everyone says: Too bad that 75% of it will be hidden. Gaz

Hey Harv, I agree. Sometimes there is such a thing as too much detail. Looking good, Bro!

T-34 Comrade: -
Hate to do this, guys but.... The Germans had a new RADAR at the end of the war. FuG 240. No draggy aerials required:

Thank you, Peter! With a small amount of time, I've added more snow detail and got the turret into a pre-weathering condition. The tank was marked with "Suvarov 166" of the 106th Tank Brigade. Some photos: Thanks for looking! Gaz

Whoa, those spark plugs are cool!

Holy shit! That framework looks crazy! Nice work, Harv! Gaz

Excellently done!

Thank you, fellas! As a confirmed Panzer lover, I'm pretty amazed at how much fun I'm having with this build. The more I handle this T-34, the more of it's brilliance becomes apparent. Gaz
