At just under 19ft long, I could fit one in our garage. But getting it into the garage would be another story. At least I don't have that issue with my Beat. But it's only 9ft long. Carl -
Looks good there Harv. Glad to see you back at then bench. Carl

A big stonkin' cannon for the Caddie Actually it's for whenever ZM finally release the HS129 with the Pak75.

A quick mock up. All the stock chrome work has to be re-done as I had to sand off lots of heavy mould seams. Mind you, I'm liking the look of it in black. -

Nice! Any luck finding the big Hasegawa kit?

Looks great Mark. I'm also liking the different approach to the cockpit assembly that Jetmads has used. Carl

Not enough Caddies on here so here's one from the SoD. The original metallic pink was a fail so it's been in the box for the last 20 years or so. Stripped it and shot a new coat of primer. Here's the chassis from where I left off. -
Your Viggen is just moving along nicely there Mark. Great work on the cockpit. Carl

Funny, I was thinking something similar. Thanks for the pics Martin. The VF-19 looks nice in the grey. -
Nice. But trying to save up for the Border Lanc.

So why is it there are no straightforward to assemble kits of the Hurricane? Is the planes design that challenging to do in IM plastic? Just curious as I chip away at my Fly kit. And no the PCM one isn't any better. Carl -
"Splash the Zeros!" HAD just released decals for the Tomcats from The Final Countdown so I grabbed them. Much better flying scenes than in Top Gun. I also picked up their Tomcat helmet decals.

Smart woman. I was thinking of selling my Beat a little while back as I wasn't driving it much. Still don't, maybe 400km a year. But Sue insisted I keep it. She was right as it only costs us $250 a year for the insurance and any gas I use.

Nice lift on the Jeep. If you have the space in the garage, consider a ceiling mounted lift for the hardtop. It'll make it easier to switch it out if you have a soft top. I use one for our roof mounted cargo box. If you need pics, let me know. Carl

I've found Tamiya's Mosquito to be an odd one in terms of its pricing. It's been around the $230-240 CAD price range here in Canada which is not much more than the price out of Asia plus not needing to pay for shipping. Here's a new one. I checked Lucky Models' shipping cost on the Lanc and it's $110 CAD airmail to Canada but nearly $160CAD to the US. It's usually the other way around if not worse. Might have to consider this now. Of course the $30 slow boat option is there too.

Tamiya F4U-1A Corsair
BlrwestSiR replied to Peterpools's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Peter, that's a great start to the Corsair. Glad to hear it's keeping you motivated. Carl -
Hobbyeasy has it up as well as Lucky Model. Lucky works out to be cheaper if you include their current 16% off discount. Postage is going to be a killer though. Carl

That Cobra looks good. Is that the Academy kit? Carl -
Peter, don't forget to add shipping to that. Which won't be cheap on its own.

It's up for preorder from Hobbyeasy. https://www.hobbyeasy.com/en/data/dqnsmkhtxe8uo2rhbfnh.html Carl
