  1. Peter, That's definitely true that I was lucky to find both parts.
  2. I think it's a marketing thing with the tall Microset bottles. Make them easy to tip over so you have to buy more. The Crusader is looking nice. One of the iconic paint schemes for that plane.
  3. Libor for LZ Models had a pre-order special for 25€ plus 10€ for shipping from Ireland to Canada. It's a bit more now. https://www.lzmodels.com/Shop.html
  4. Me too! Just need to get a Tomcat and Spitfire out of the way.
  5. Cool! I thought that was for finished builds only. Otherwise if you can move this over there that would be awesome.
  6. The IP dials are printed on paper so I cut a piece of acetate for glass. Then I glued them to the PE face and attached them to the IP. To make things easier later on, I painted around the cockpit opening with Dark Sea Grey.
  7. Here you go: https://andyshhq.com/products/preorder-andys-hobby-headquarters-ahhq007-1-16-british-achilles-m10-iic-tank-destroyer-preorder
  8. That's a bit annoying with the way they placed it.
  9. I have a couple of their kits. The Scammell tank transporters are very nicely done. If you're careful, they can built with working suspension.
  10. Well, a slight pause to work on other stuff. @ScottsGT, it's definitely in a different league from the Hobbycraft kit. One reason I sort of stopped was I lost the compass mount. It went off into the ether and my lap monster unfortunately wasn't around to catch it. A couple days ago while searching for a different part, I found both on the floor. So I thought best to get it glued in place before I lose it again. I glued the pedal assembly in at the same time. Next up, I started on all the little levers. So things are moving forward again.
  11. Something new and just released. I also bought a Fisher Cutlass but need to pick it up from the LHS.
  12. For me, since I was 3 1/2 and started wearing glasses.
  13. And they're done! In formation/anchored to Andromeda.
  14. The Dreadnoughts are getting closer to done.
  15. Talk about glancing away and then finding a completed build. And a bonus one to boot! Great work on both John.
  16. In that case, may I suggest an Armortek one? 1/6 so he might have a harder time stopping it in its tracks. Here's the Pershing. https://www.armortek.co.uk/product/m26-pershing/
  17. @Artful69, looks like you're right. It's the Figma release but unassembled and a set of OVM tools thrown in.
  18. At least it was easier than the tricolour on the other one.
  19. I've got a pair of the Tamiya D's in 1/48. One will be a Grim Reaper with the shark mouth. Have you seen the Detail and Wonder gear legs? I've got a set of those for the D kit. Will probably get the Reskit ones for the second kit to throw some support their way.
  20. Yes, the hi vis markings. Which I originally wasn't fond of in the Revell kit but have come around to liking. The last one in the stash will be Miss Molly VF-111. Unless @ScottsGT decides he wants it after all.
  21. The Heng Long RC tanks are supposed to be fairly decent. They're actually cheaper than this kit too and are RTR. Some have an IR system for combat and can even shoot airsoft BBs. Just don't get the basic one as that has plastic gearboxes.
  22. Actually, it's the part of the bench my sons use. How Sunny managed to find a clear spot and lay down I have no idea. But he did it without knocking over any of that stuff. It already looks that way. Meanwhile the cat bed is not 5 ft from the bench but why sleep there? Now if our dog Jimmy tried that, I'd have no bench left or anything else for that matter.
  23. Some more great work there Ron. Hope the sprucutterittus isn't permanent and heals quickly.
  24. If you thought the Andy's HHQ/Takom Tiger 1 was a bit small, Plamax has a 1/12 Tiger 1 coming out soon. It even has working suspension.
  25. 1/1 scale. No need to worry about getting fur in the paint job for once either.
