  1. Talk about a large scale model!
  2. Thanks for sharing the pics. Some lovely looking planes there.
  3. Third generation Ford Mustang with a 302 (4.9 L) V8 engine. The chassis was called Fox by Ford so most Mustang enthusiasts call them Fox bodies. You should listen to how Honda fans talk about their cars. EF, EK, B16, K20.
  4. Glad to hear you still it. I thought you might have traded it in for the Jeep.
  5. Wow, that's fast. Great job on the build and paint.
  6. Kotare I'd having a sale on their Spitfire 1 (mid) kit. It's 20% off to celebrate Battle of Britain Day. https://www.kotare-models.com/products/k32001-132-spitfire-mkia-mid

  7. How are Belkits Rob? I haven't built one before and am curious to the quality. There's a 1/12 RS available too. It's 3D printed and €169 but comes with an engine. The guy offers both the rally and race versions.
  8. Sounds like Jimmy. We had a backyard full of huge ferns. Well, they're mostly gone now. Trampled or buried under our behemoth. His new trick is if he hears someone we know coming up the laneway, he jumps the back fence and goes to greet them. The fence is 5ft tall... At least he's stopped trying to make friends with skunks.
  9. Very nice Spitfire John. Great work as always.
  10. Definitely looks like a Tiger. The screens on the Fiefel filters add a nice touch.
  11. Well thankfully the 917 engine is sort of visible through the rear end.
  12. Amazing work. The fenders look realistically damaged.
  13. I haven't tried the 1 Man Army stencils yet but I have used the ones made by Eduard. They're PE so have their own challenges in using them. @DocRob, I always thought these were just the stencils so haven't picked up any as I felt they were pricey but if they have the national markings as well, them the price is more reasonable. Like you said, it would be nice to know what's in the sets.
  14. Now I'm torn between this and the original release in the white Martini scheme. Please they've announced a 1/12 Stratos which will be a must buy.
  15. Thanks for the link. A bit more than the Achilles once I factor in shipping to Canada.
  16. I still haven't seen this kit available in Canada yet. The original release has been sold out for a while now too.
  17. Thanks again for keeping us updated on Harvey Ernie. It's good to hear he's at least moving in the right direction. Hopefully things continue to move that way.
  18. The exhaust covers look great. Suitably dented but not as bad as a New York cab. The same goes for the turret bin.
  19. Ah, that's the very first 109 I ever built. It's the Hasegawa G6. I did it when it first came out. It's taken quite a beating since then.
  20. Well, I guess his stint at Trumpeter has given him renewed purpose.
  21. Good to hear you pulled it off and stayed intact.
  22. Nice looking tracks Martin. Can't believe how fast you got them done.
  23. I think @Pete Fleischmann was looking for one in 1/32. Or a conversion at least. This might be the closest we'll get to that. Carl
  24. Not sure, which one?
