  1. A stunner Kriss you definitely have the Italian camo patterns down no matter the scale.
  2. Rog all is looking good I bet the big day is highly anticipated
  3. Well what you see is three hours of painting.I started with panel lines top and bottom with Testors Rubber color The bottom was color in A/C Grey MM paint there I started almost painting over the panels lines first then the rest always constantly keeping the gun going in an erratic pattern. The top was done in MM Intermediate Blue here I started in the inside of the panel erratic then the panel lines last the darkest of the color prevailed here.I have over the last couple years with this technique developed a splotchy I think weather/faded look....you tell me.I can still see areas in a different light that need attention in the Blue mainly on the tail. The line I draw in that erratic pattern can be 1/16" it takes time my right thumb is sore right now.
  4. OH!....Hubert I don't know if I can build that many in a year
  5. Not my best effort Ricardo but should look good in the cabinet from a couple feet away.
  6. Slowly digging deeper guys moving forward I spent a good hour last night sanding on the R/side under the nose glass while not 100% it pretty close you can't see the filler really unless looking hard.I found a myriad of seams around the nacelles I had to tend to I had focused to much on the leading edges but that's part of the purpose of primer.I was amazed I still had a bottle of MM enamel Intermediate Blue still good thinned it down with Mr.Level Thinner and it's good to go should start paint tomorrow thinking leaving the wings off and glue them up afterwards the fit is good upstairs and OK down below it's no show model.
  7. Looking Good to my eyes John you'll have cranked out and decaled by sunset tomorrow....
  8. Jeroen at this point for me in the build I had the wings already built having heard other had issues building the WW's.If I did what you have and maybe you get lucky the wing and fuse would go together.

  10. Seems alot of us pursue the same hobbies I always wanted to fly since very young just never came to past. The vast majority of us just have to create something and be free to do so.
  11. Build is looking good Rob and sorry about the dog.I lost in 4 months FILaw,Brother,Son(service) and my dog of 18 1/2 years a Lab the house was so quiet I had to get another after 3 months.Hannah is a good dog loves people but protective best thing I did at the time.I cried more loosing my dog than I did for for the family weird but it was.
  12. I have one handgun and it's a Springfield WWII version of the 1911.Tim I have bidded on a few Uberti's over the years just not lucky enough yet for me it's the Civil War renditions that move me.
  13. I think you are referring to the Accurate Miniatures boxing? Yes Academy is using the same molds with some enhancements.I am thinking the weight is a bit of and overkill. I tell you Peter if I could find out who made those .........they really were the easiest masks I have ever used with no instructions. I am hoping it goes that way John the right side below the nose glass got a filler issue hoping I get by it.I do not mind seams so much but unlevel surfaces
  14. Chris it's MTO 1942/43 Jochen Prien,III and IV/JG27 Red 2 RLM79 w/linear mottling of RLM80 with RLM76 behind the hakenkrenz on the tail I might go that I also have another G2/G4 in the cabinet.
  15. The lines on the Glock have never really satisfied me give some of the older stuff on handguns Scott and I am good to go and I am talking maybe 1970's back.

  17. A little update is in order and a productive evening it has been.I must say who ever created these mask and the see through material did the BEST set I have ever utilized perfect and super flexible thumps up!!The wings are still not glued in as of yet got some filler around the nose to still do before the primer hits the crate. The build has not been to bad any issues present were probably created by yours truly. The F-150 is done finished today more time to modeling.
