  1. End of Part 1 ...there most likely will be Part 2 later this week .
  2. Eez going ok . Never built a 1/48 tank before ( apart from the lil Ba64 the other month for that dio) . 😃Last Jagdpanther I did was a 1/25 one . So far so good, I like using 30% less paint and glue ...more shelf space .....and although the cast metal hull is a bit of a gimmick, I personally like the weight . Detail is very Tamiya as is the great fit . L&L tracks were superb for fitting , Tamiya have really nailed this aspect IMHO . Fixed in one place suspension is the downside. Might do a little 1/48 dio......swearing will start with the figures no doubt.
  3. Some of my walkaround pix I took at the Bovington - may be of interest Also - are those the kit tracks ? https://postimg.cc/gallery/zGxkt9P
  4. That's the last time we trust you with the keys on a night out.... Hans ...
  5. Bit of 1/4 scale madness courtesy of Tamiya Kurt is confused ... Very quick build , top attached with a screw Night Shifts favourite primer Doingthe hull halves seperately Link n Lenght tracks is why ...I like there apart from the pin marks .. Top basic paint and filter And the fun starts here ..... PW
  6. Rotherham ...there's a theme there .
  7. I wanted to do a 1/350 ship ...and for my sins I bought one .....served it to me up via UPS ...and when it was over ...I'd never want another .. To quote Willard... So my first attempt at a "proper" scale ship . Compared to the 1/72 Revell S Boat or the 1/144 Uboat I did last year this was so much more of a challenge. Thought I knew how to tackle this, but found myself going back over stuff I'd already done , picking up bits and re affixing ....did I mention I hate tiny PE ? This kit kicked my ass. We're friends here , so we'll deffo ignore the rigging , I had truly lost the will to live by then . Can't fault the kit itself it was well engineered I kinda get it , why people build these , although I reckon the skill set is something I need to develop, as a lot of how I do armour or aircraft didn't work so well at this scale . And now a return to regular programming . Link to RFI Laterz PW
  8. An interesting and thought provoking little article I came across. For me personally I tend to veer towards newer kits as it is the painting and afterwards that fascinates rather than the construction....although I've also done some awful kits as nostalgia builds from my youth ....see tricksy problem ! Enjoy or not IS MODEL-MAKING BECOMING TOO EASY..?
  9. I hate getting old , it truly sucks . I'm also glad you are doing OK Peter. Phew !!
  10. Thats great news Peter , I'm glad for you both.
  11. Yes- I'm a so so modeller who has learnt to take half decent pix ....it's all smoke and mirrors Phil ! And all done with this one now / Link to carefully chosen pictures 🤣
  12. As with Rob, mine doesn't get used a huge amount , but for stuff like metal tracks , or a lot of repeat drilling it's great for me .
  13. That stunning yellow shows off the lines of he aircraft really well . Great build ,I love it . Never seen one in the flesh , a rare bird and none in Europe sadly .
  14. Loved those two, I'm pinching them for home made birthday cards !
  15. Those rattlers are smart ......who knew they could read ?
  16. Thank you , so... the 109 is better than the Revell Spitfire ? I think you reckoned not much to that one ( apologies if it was someone else )
  17. So compared to the ZM one , is there any comparison or is it just "Revell" ?
