What is on your bench right now ? Share a picture :)

Trackbashing ...as much fun in 1/35 as it is in 1/1 ....5+ hours so far -
I do recall paging my way through his 10,000 posts ...not a single build thread , RFI or even picture of anything he had built . Complete waste of space being on any modelling forum ...could have happily trolled the Western Arkansas New Knitting forum for as much skin he had in the game .

Being a huge fan of Pantherererzzz ...a nice CZ book with lots of pix not available elsewhere . My other obsession is the EE Lightning ....I already have all the books written about them ...😔

+1 ....me too Tim , saw MIL and so had to look it up . My namesake pal has prostrate cancer, but now 2 years later and some radiation he's back to being ok . Mum dies of pancreatic cancer , diagnosis to gone in 4 weeks . As the song says , "why do we think we have so much time ?" Oh & other useful advice , if someone feeds you chocolate cake with beetroot ( it's a gourmet thing apparently) be aware of the panic you may feel going to the loo 12 hours or whatever later .....I'll just park it there Sincerely wishing you a speedy recover Chris .

Great result , esp as it is hard to make solid black look interesting 👍 -

I feel you get the chance to charge what you like when you're the only show in town ....companies charging OTT for 60 year old crappy tooling winds me up more. And YAY 🏆 .....it not another flipping spithurrie190109tangtigertank .....coz I think that market may....just may ....be saturated now ....🤣 An iconic aircraft, which I probably won't buy or build coz it's kinda not my area of interest, but I am glad is there for those who want to . -
Nice little kit , metal barrel and some PE , but wubber band tracks , an odd mix almost like Tamiya don't know which direction to head in . Pretty much OOB, apart from the stowage and some fictitious wiring in the hull. WIP here madam .... & as it is is Easter .... Kurt Approves even though it's artillery not panzer ....

It's odd given how ubiquitous they were in pre war ships . -

I suspect the capstans , assuming they had similar arrangement at the stern to pull them back ? Only a guess -

Not so much "on the bench"..... but the bench itself . I'm moving in a couple of months so I am thinking of a better set up than the one of the past few years , and have been buying new stuff & changing things around. This is bench 2.2 ... cheap IKEA stuff. Whole desk cost $150 so if it gets trashed I'm not too bothered just go buy it again, which is what I have just done . I use cutting mats to protect the surface, and have custom fitted some laser trays for Tamiya and Vallejo paints . Space for my laptop, (either work or play as this also doubles as my work desk . Bought a second white chest of drawers to replace the ones that were there before , they are quite shallow but better suit my modelling stuff. Also splashed out on an overheard 27W light , saves desk real estate and is brighter and easier to swing around than the anglepoise. Army Painter wet pallet and cheapo cake turntable are standard kit , plus my 4x specs ....if it looks ok at 4x mag it will be fine in 1:1 and should be good for photos. Stash and specific tools and materials such as terrain making things are kept elsewhere in the house outta sight , as I only like to have what I use daily to hand . Less spaces seems to increase my productivity as I don't have to move much to get what I need - and as it doubles up for working from home it tends to get tidied up a lot. Glass of wine ..... hell it's Saturday night fellas ! -
I was tempted to point out this was in the meme thread as to whether it was real or not. Sorry Tim .😔
