  1. Hi all, finally finished the Fokker E.III in Max Immellmann's 'colors'. Since he was awarded the Blue Max medal, I placed a replica of the Pour le Merite on the base. I have added HGW seatbelts. A wooden prop (by Douglas Craner). Bob's Buckles and EZ line. Now, on with the DH.9a! Cheers, Jeroen
  2. Ah, I see you also got the 'verrekte mongol'!
  3. Ehhh..... wow! I love the wood man! Really nice. Also love the elastic band on the tail skid you've replicated. Great touch. Cheers, Jeroen
  4. Wow!! Only just spotted this build. Really love your paintwork. Especially in the cockpit. Very nice contrast and weathering. Following this one.. Cheers, Jeroen
  5. Ps. I anyone wants to build these chocks in 1/32: pktinyland offers them.
  6. Thnx for this erik! I was just amazed by the well preserved Fug, spitfire engine and mg131 guns. Had a great day! Cheerd, Jeroen
  7. Amazing walk around! Could not ask for more pictures. Well... maybe for the cockpit... Thank you very much sir!
  8. Moderator love! Damn Cees... We look good, don't we? ( i must say we weren't the only sexy specimens in the place. There was also a Brian May look-a-like and i've just spotted a scrumptious example walking in the right background...)
  9. Anyone seen this? http://www.revell.de/?id=1029
  10. So do your dimensions and shape. But they're still authentic.
  11. Hi Cees, love it. And like James says: this subject surely won't be covered in 'our' scale any time soon!
  12. Nice review James. I almost bought one not so long ago, but with all the excellent WnW quality out there and more of those than I can build I'm not biting yet. Besides. With my luck WnW hits us with a surprise Dr1 as soon as I start an Encore kit...
  13. I just love that 'radioactive hazard' sticker sealing the pit.
  14. Wow... this scale really needs your attention to detail. This is going to be a beauty. Love the work on the ammo boxes.
  15. Hi Jeroen, Great vignette. My father in law drives a Liberator like this. Great stuff. The m1 carbine is pretty cool too. I actually have one myself. Cheers, Jeroen
  16. Geeeeeez guys! I've been away two days and utter mayhem breaks out! This really 'walks out of the hand' I simply sprayed a base of some different shades of light brown Mr Hobby color. Then dotted some artist oils and went berzerk with a flat brush lightly dipped in terpentine. When it starts to dry I use a harder flat brush to obtain the thin lines and streaks. Then sprayed some very light dark grey to get some stained wood. Soo.... Who's going to Heiden on Sunday??
  17. nooo.... i woke up in the middle of the night and there he was. Standing next to my bed only wearing a pair of brown knickerbockers. That's James for you...
  18. Well. if smooth at all. A smooth criminal i guess! Here's a small progress pic of some wood and leather work. Lots of wood in the pit! And lots of leather too. Looks like James's closet...
  19. I don't! I have Zap a Gap on my knuckles. Artist oils under my nails. And X-acto cuts in my finger prints. Next time i shake your hand I will however check your moisture level, cuticles, calluses, and other wear and tear. Just so you know...
  20. Hi Erik! I don't actually. That's why this is going to be a long long term project. Here's what I just got: It's a replica WW1 Territorial Force War Medal for Captain Andrew Glover Inglis ASC who transfered from the ASC to the RFC. It's his plane that I will be making and now resides at Hendon. Cheers! Jeroen
  21. Great review guys. No questions left! It has been said before but the detail of these WnW kits keeps getting better and better. I mean, look at the opened up louvres on the engine plating! I think the next step will be to include the rocker arms and pistons. Just like on the ZM Uhu. Don't know what that will add, but it's the only thing i can think of. Cheers, Jeroen
