  1. More done on the wingroots. And surgery on the tail. A lot needed to be removed and scratched.
  2. Dry fitting the chin and building more wingroot detail
  3. Forklift done. I’ll add the props to the spinner. I think.
  4. Slowly building up the gear hinges and detail.
  5. Hi guys, closing the fuse and building up the interior detail that is not present. Like the front of the firewall. Next up is adding the detail and figuring out the gear hinges. Also put together the forklift.
  6. Altered the top part of the instrument panel to match pics of the barn finds:
  7. First paint. Trying to get the proper worn look.
  8. Thnx guys! bought some more stuff for this build. the Radu Brinzan canopy. Since thick plastic for the open canopy is a no no. seatbelts and the eduard legs.
  9. Pallet trucks with wooden pallets arrived. One pallet truck with pallet will carry the spinner.
  10. Slowly whipping the wingroots into shape.
  11. Thnx guys. at the moment i’m cutting away a lot of plastic and resin to make the set fit the revell kit AND to show the wingroots in the proper way. The wingroots actually need to come off and the fuse should be flush. Slowly but surely the nose is starting to fit. As you can see i’ll need to scratch the gear hinges.
  12. I’m sure we’ve all seen the old Battle of Britain movie stars covered in dust. These were part of the private collection of Connie Edwards. I intend to use the Revell 109G-6 kit with the Attitude Aviation conversion to replicate a part of this scene. After 45 minutes in the cave I came this far: Kit and conversion courtesy of conversion designer and 3d artist Ronnie Olsthoorn and Attitude Aviation. stay tuned.
  13. Lovely kit. I built it in it's unrestored state at NASM:
  14. Great book. Very inspirational!
  15. Thnx guys! A nice inspection hatch from photo etch out of the spares box
  16. It’s not done yet... much more weathering to do. Front windshield, etc.. I am aware of the yaw control but found it more pleasing to the eye to pose them all open. Let’s say the controls are disconnected and the restoration crew is working on these I’m guessing a week or so and she should be ready. Ps. Rick Kranias checked the real wings last week and noted there is also a cross on the left wings underside, but NOT on the right wing. So i managed to get that right just in time
