It’s a button that turns the power on and off.

The fake 3d printed one is the one i’m holding. The real one is now in the base.

Ready to paint the aluminium base in RLM66.

Thanks Jeroen for the info. Have to agree with Martin, the 'fake button' with the printing looks so much more aeronautical.

Those stencils are stunning. Will definitely have to check those out for any future builds where they make a set.

No. That’s AK panel line wash :)

Now working on the connector plugs.

Love the way you use the panel wash, both accenting the details and creating highlights and shadows; going to give it a try when I get back to building.

Hope you didn't use Tamiya tape for that job. Would cost more than the paint!

Painting and masking look fantastic.

I’m in the middle of a major renovation on our home and of course, everything is taking longer then planned but it should be done in a few months time. Diane and I have been waiting a very long time to have the renovation done and it’s our dream for sure.
