Administrators JeroenPeters Posted February 3, 2022 Author Administrators Posted February 3, 2022 More fitting. Needed to really thin a few panels to fit over the engine. Almost there. Then on to the guns. 6 1

The engine mountings may have taken some beating and twisting in the crash process anyway, resulting in a crooked engine ... Love the detailing and finish Hubert 3
Peterpools Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 Jeroen Fingers crossed the engine fix will be easier then it seems. Of course, Hubert's reasoning is perfect! Keep 'em comin Peter 4

Administrators JeroenPeters Posted February 4, 2022 Author Administrators Posted February 4, 2022 Managed to fix the problem. Reinstalled the engine. Also fixed the angle of the mg131’s. For some reason the Eduard brassin set lets them aim to far upwards. 5 1
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted February 7, 2022 Author Administrators Posted February 7, 2022 Started painting the base. Authentic instruments fitted. 4 1
Peterpools Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Jeroen Terrific repair - you surely pulled it out of the fire! And now the base - going to be epic Keep 'em comin Peter 2
Martinnfb Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Looks really sharp Jeroen, however it seems that the cowling ring has a downward angle, maybe it's just a distortion of the lens, if so, please disregard . Cheers Martin 2

Fidd88 Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 Utterly stunning sir, bravo! Just a thought, if the model is "under repair" in the diorama, it'd be normal to put the undercart legs onto axle-stands, or large wooden blocks, rather than having the bottom of the oleo's on the ground, I would think, 3
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted February 21, 2022 Author Administrators Posted February 21, 2022 More progress: 6 1
