BlrwestSiR
Jimmy this morning showing his enthusiasm for his second, longer walk. I had to lift him up and turn him on his sides to get his harness on. Of course the moment the door opened he was up and ready to go. It works on the same premise as a halter on a horse. It allows control of the animal with much less effort or strength. And it allows the animal to open his mouth, take a drink, whatever. When I would walk three rottweilers at once, the only way they could budge me was if they all went the same direction at the same time. Which only happened once as they leaned forward to get patted by a curious couple on the street. Needless to say, 350 lbs of eager rottweiler was enough to quickly satisfy their curiosity. And they are eager to stick their noses in once they know it means they are going on a walk. I highly recommend them to anyone that has an unruly dog. Control the head... control the dog.

Would you believe I was accidentally under feeding him by 25%. I thought his food scoop was bigger than it was. He's 5 months old next week but is already over 40lbs.

Jimmy rarely pulls with the harness so it's working for us nicely. When it's walk time, he'll calmly sit at the door and I can slip it on without any issues. Our dog Zoe is a dream to walk. Here's Edward waling when he was around 2 years old.
