belugawhaleman Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 I'm still waiting for that big 1/18 Brewster Buffalo that Hobby boss was rumored to be working on..... 4
Martinnfb Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Still impressive work, thank you for sharing Harvey 4
Peterpools Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Yup, impressive and way too big for me ... not a chance it would fit in the display case or even in the paint booth. 2
Peterpools Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 One good looking P-38 but simply way to massive. 🙁 2

I watched Andy’s HHQ reveal of the new Tiger, too big and even though he said it was a test shot, I was expecting more detail at this sort of scale. Not for me………. 3
Peterpools Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Phil, agreed. The bigger the kit and scale, the included details would become an issue, as so much more can easily be seen. I often wondered about the logistics: how to handle a kit of that size during construction and painting. When done, display of large kits for me has always kept me from purchasing the 32nd scale WWII heavies. 3
BlrwestSiR Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 That looks impressive but it's certainly big. 3 minutes ago, Peterpools said: When done, display of large kits for me has always kept me from purchasing the 32nd scale WWII heavies. I've got the same problem. I'm hoping to build a big enough display case in the spring with all the ones that I have. For the moment, the one 4 engine heavy I've completed (my B-24) is stored with her wings off on top of the stash shelves. No where else for it. 3
Peterpools Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Carl Got ya and hoping the new display case will be big enough to house your growing collection of heavies. 2 1
