Harvey, if I may I would suggest to glue the nose panels on first and install the exhaust housing to it, perhaps even to eliminate the whole engine assembly nonsense. Unless you want to expose the innards .

Thanks. Yes, plan on installing exhaust last. I've gone as far as I want with engin. Lots of parts left off. Not even going to paint it.....harv

Good thinking for sure. Just go the minimum work on the engine and move on. I wasted to much time on the P-40's engine for nothing.
