PanzerWomble Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 1/35 B17 ....for the man who believes that 'size is everything' ...? .......that'll be a 36 inch wingpsan ....maybe I'm in the wrong place but that's lost on me gents . 😖 Who the heck has room for that ? Even wrestling it around to build it is beyond most peoples bench no ? I suppose great if you like that sort of thing ,and looking at the Kate if it's anything like that it will be impressive in detail . I suspect this may become another $600 buck stash queen like all those Lancs you don't see built . Thank heavens it wasn't in "true scale" that would make it 39 inches , you can see now why they whine about this scalism on some other forums , that extra 6 inches......... makes all the difference I'm sure . 😂 4 1
PanzerWomble Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 Oops double post ...probably wasn't that good first time around 2

Instead I might buy the Gecko 1/16 Pak 40 and have my Half track towing it! I'd like to see more 1/16 artillery stuff. I have made some 1/35 artillery and the kits were really small. Yes, I agree Large-scale more detail should be included....but considering, my experiences with most of the 1/16 kits I own the detail is pretty good. 5

belugawhaleman Posted February 5, 2024 Posted February 5, 2024 Just to say that I noticed the availability of Friulmodel tracks on a couple of websites I use; Burbank's, and Sprue Brothers. I ordered a couple of sets. I guess they're back in business and have dropped the " Only order from us" policy. 2

Yes- he sold it to a new owner just before Xmas ( Facebook ?) ....just after I'd been binge buying tracks just in case .... Good news though and stockists seem to have them back again ...and he's not banged up the price either . Result , go Gabor ! New and old owner below ...I might be a lil bit of a fan of their tracks .... 6 1

I have the HB 1/48 in the stash and was going to be building it this year but now, knowing GWH reputation for detail and accuracy, I'm waiting for their version to hit the shelves. 3

Martinnfb Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 Yes indeed, it looks like we are going to be getting a nice A-10 sometime soon. I wish it would be 1/32 , maybe one day. 3
belugawhaleman Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 Saw this on The Modeling News website. Miniart's New M3 Stuart with interior. Looks like a real gem of a kit! https://www.themodellingnews.com/2024/02/preview-update-inside-out-of-miniarts.html#more 1

ScottsGT Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 Yea, I’ve watched some kit reviews. I’m stoked about this one. Just ordered the Zotz decals before they became unobtanium. I may be building two twins in a row. My Christmas raffle score of a Sprue gift card is ready to be cashed in! 2

Odd no-ones ever tackled it sadly ....although it's in a bit of odd item and space, for me - only US used , missed Nam ...fought in the sandpits ....hmmm...not been a big hit film star...but would make for some gnarly weathering . Not overly big in 1/32 either. EDIT I take it the Dumpeter was a B Team effort ? https://www.scalemates.com/kits/trumpeter-02214-a-10a-thunderbolt-ii--136441 3
