Kotare Spit

Just finished the first two steps in the Kotare Spitfire.

The kit is beautiful lots of things to paint but goes together very easily.  The molded seatbelts are a bit soft on detail and the instructions can be a little confusing so you need to pay attention but I love this kit

Any reason why you decided not to use the kit deals - they look terrific?

Yep I'm doing one of the 3 Mk 1as that were used by Turkey. Also I hate decals whenever possible I paint the markings rather than using decals

I'm pretty sure that the Mk.II served with the RAF exclusively, with other nationalities making up squadrons within the RAF, the Mk.V was the one that served with other air arms in any numbers as far as I know.
