BlrwestSiR Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 Nice to see this back and glad to have caught up on it. If you're running the True Metal on, how are you keeping such a clean a sharp demarcation? They look like separate parts. 1

I am doing small stuff to help me realize which color is correct for this build. True metal is wax based and easy to drybrush. I use panel liner to hide overlap. 1
FullArmor Posted July 23, 2024 Author Posted July 23, 2024 I am experimenting new tecnique to create worn and weathered surface. Just spray painted all black. Then automotive green paint over it. Then used brass wirebrush to wear off some surface paint before it dries. After that i will drybrush some silver, give it some filter and pinwash. Finished. Easy! 2 1
FullArmor Posted July 23, 2024 Author Posted July 23, 2024 Finished some guns. Wanted them look like been to 100 years of battle🙂 4
FullArmor Posted July 24, 2024 Author Posted July 24, 2024 Sponson guns. I do not know if i went too far with colors...On the other hand all warhammer colors are overemphasized. Right? 3
FullArmor Posted July 27, 2024 Author Posted July 27, 2024 I added some highlights, pinwash and details. Looking much more better. 4
HubertB Posted July 27, 2024 Posted July 27, 2024 It’s a really big gun for a really short turret. I wonder how they balance the overhang of the gun and yet keep some space for loading it in this small space … Keep it coming Hubert 3
FullArmor Posted July 28, 2024 Author Posted July 28, 2024 Turret finished. I will be adding some transfers when rest of the build done. Also i will add commander with machinegun. 5
BlrwestSiR Posted July 28, 2024 Posted July 28, 2024 Nice work on the turret and guns. The spare wheel and track holders are a nice touch too. 1
DocRob Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Wow, love it, the turret looks great. I specially like your chipping, which looks very real. Cheers Rob 1

FullArmor Posted August 10, 2024 Author Posted August 10, 2024 This build has been fun! I have tested new products and bolder colors. Those i can use with other builds however toned down significantly. 2
BlrwestSiR Posted August 10, 2024 Posted August 10, 2024 Great work on the hull. The weathering looks impressive, really brings out the cast texture on the model. 1
FullArmor Posted August 11, 2024 Author Posted August 11, 2024 Test fitting. Final bits are most dificult ones...painting figure and back section containing small details. 3
FullArmor Posted August 11, 2024 Author Posted August 11, 2024 Engine deck needed some color. I will be weathering this after varnish, so it will be toned down some degree. 2
FullArmor Posted August 18, 2024 Author Posted August 18, 2024 Started painting small details to this "altar" end piece. 3
