Heritagecon 2025

I just got back from our trip to Heritagecon. It's a great show with the goal of supporting the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. Plus you have the awesome environment of being surrounded by various planes, many in flaying condition.

Onto to the models on display starting with aircraft.

Scratch built floats for the C-47.

1/32 planes were well represented.

The Border Lanc kit done to represent the wartime VR-A.

There were a couple of the ICM CH-54 kits built up. Here's the first one with just about every bit of AM from Reskit and Screaming Toad thrown at it. 

The second one was in a civilian scheme.

Then there was this 1940 Maserati:

I must have missed a table as there were more ships but I don't seem to have pics of the rest.

That Maserati looks amazing, not surprised it took 20 years to do!

The RNLI lifeboat also looks cool. Think it's an Aran class but not sure.

A number of MaK kits. The variety in paint schemes was great to see.

The lifeboat is the Airfix kit I believe if that helps.

Bonus entry, it seems they had VR-A taken apart more than I've seen previously for maintenance.

The entire horizontal and vertical tailplanes were off.

Thank you for taking us with you, Carl. It seemed to have been a great show. I especially like the relatively great amount of off the trotten path kits shown.
