A new kit in town, after hitting the pre order button (You have to be fast with MFH kits, usually the pre order max is reached in some hours after the announcement), I wasn´t so sure about the B194. I´m not a real Schuhmacher fan and as much as I like the cars of the early nineties (post turbo era), I prefer a low nose design.
Anyway, now I´m happy and the kit will look vivid beside my Williams FW16 from the same season.
Parts count is relatively low for a MFH kit and shouldn´t be too complicated to build. Painting and decaling will be another matter.

I really thought you'd buy a case of them. :D

Guess you're playing it safe starting with 1.

That's a big RC engine. How big is the plane for it?

I actually don’t have a plane in mind right now.  But anything from something like a 1/3 scale 70” wingspan Pitts Special or a 1/3 scale Spacewalker with just over a 100” wingspan.

This was the sport/trainer I had my first one on way back in the day.  It has a 96” wingspan.

Yea, I’ve realized these won’t fit in my Mustang too. 😱

So I’m looking at getting one of those convertible top kits for my 1990 F-250.  It’s about $1200 and you can fold it up and out  of the way when not in use.  Cheaper than a new car or trailer.

I had a surprise package show up. Back in June 2024 during one of their summer sales, I ordered several items from Lucky Model. All were listed as in-stock at the time. I took their flat rate surface mail shipping offer as I'd done so in the past and gotten my orders usually within a couple months of ordering. For some reason, this time the order got broken up. I'd get a couple items at a  time. Every time I'd ask about the outstanding items on the order I'd get the same answer: there wasn't enough room in their shipping container for it and once they have the space they'd sent it out. Got a bit annoyed at that.  Well, they finally got around to making the space and I received the last item from that order.

I took the plunge in September and bought a DSPIAE ES-P rotary tool, as I regularly build PCM kits it has been a godsend.

However, I got it out to do some work on my C202 and it was dead as a dodo, tried charging it and nothing, it was a straight from China eBay jobby, as it was so new and I had only used it 2 to 3 times I contacted them but will not be holding my breath for and answer.

So I looked for a replacement and ordered an AK one from Jadlam, slightly more expensive but with lots of extras, I was however surprised when I opened the box.

Twins, just hope the new one lasts longer

I find it interesting that your Despiae one died as mine has as well. I did use mine a bit more than you did.  The last time I used it I plugged it in to charge and after charging it wouldn't turn on.

Hopefully your new one is more durable.

Mine has been fine, but I did have trouble with their reciprocating sander. My first one wouldn't run long after charging, then I noticed a small

split on the casing . It was defective. I bought a replacement and that one has been fine. 😀 In my case I blame the seller sending me a defective

unit, possibly a returned item.. The replacement was from a different vendor.

Some recent Items.....

First, from Tamiya, an ancient kit. I built this one when in high school. It's their U.S.A.F FAIRCHILD REPUBLIC A 10A

THUNDERBOLT II  (61028) This is a later boxing than the one I built. Purchased on EBAY , it was cheap. Under $ 25 USD.

Despite there being much better kits being offered of this aircraft available I thought it would be a fun build. The kit was

Sealed NIB. These are still being made , and sell for about $ 40 USD. Ordered a few aftermarket items.

One of the aftermarket items......

An ACES II seat in 1/48 by MINICRAFT COLLECTIONS (MCC48028)

Some Iwata items.......Three needle packing screws (new type I-725-1) for Eclipse airbrushes.

I also bought a spare needle for my Hi-line HP-BC  (I-0753)

A while ago I rebuilt my Eclipse airbrushes but never replaced the packing 0 rings-just adjusted them. The new packing screws have an integral

PTFE seal........I hope they fit.

Last some Mr Color spray cans .....Character Flesh 111. Whether in spray cans or bottle, this stuff is very hard to find !

This is for the "Egg Girl" kits I have.  Why so hard to find?

Anyway having dual UPS/USPS problems. Every darn package (8) delayed or lost.....freaking hilarious.

This also includes Amazon BTW

Thanks to @Martinnfb look what arrived today!  I was trying to clear out closet space by getting rid of the 1/48 B-29 but he talked me into taking this off his hands.  What a guy!!    Cheers, Martin!

Oh, I'm sure it will!  I hope the B-29 gets there soon!  Must be getting there on horseback...
