Paulster Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Here's my current 1/1 kit. M48A1 at the USMC Mechanized Museum at Camp Pendleton. Have the power pack on the ground next to it. It's been ground started a couple of time so we know it runs. Have a spare also. Soon as I figure out the problem with the transmission selector linkage we can install it. 3
Dave J Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Thats really some awesome weathering effects you have going on that kit! Is AK, Ammo Mig?
Wingco57 Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Must have cost you a lot of putty to get that turret to look like it's cast. Very nice though. Cees

lawman56 Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Personally, I think it needs more photo etch and some Fruil tracks.......
Paulster Posted July 25, 2014 Author Posted July 25, 2014 Personally, I think it needs more photo etch and some Fruil tracks....... We have a really good set of tracks from an M88 that we're going to put on it.
youngtiger1 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 That's a cool model. After you are finished with it and don't have room to display it on your shelf....let me know because I'll be happy to help a brother out
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted October 4, 2014 Administrators Posted October 4, 2014 Great stuff! Last week I was at the Bastogne Barracks in Belgium. It's where they restore all the armor for the Brussels War Museum. While I was there they were working on a Sdkfz 7/2 half track with Flak and a Stug III. The Maybach engine stood besides it just like your power pack.. 1
crazypoet Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 So why isn't this being documented in the LSM Armor WIP forum? I believe that 1/1 does qualify as "Large Scale" ???
