It was ZK-420s I really had no business being in a Sotheby's Auction house I just did not know enough about the rifle only it was coming out of a private individual in the UK.The pics of the rifle and the machining just claim perfection throughout.I was in another auction a small house spotted a rifle being claimed a K98 but was not I think either Norway or Denmark on the country. The Germans took over the factory and were proofing the rifles with Waffen and SS marks.I had like $2500 as my top bid and some JA from like Sotheby/Tiffany's came in and cleaned or clock. https://www.poulinauctions.com/2024/10/02/extremely-rare-czech-zk-420s-semi-auto-rifle/ 2
ScottsGT Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I looked at some of the other sold guns. This makes no sense to me. I know old Winchesters are valuable, but was this some rifle owned by a famous person? Or Winchester #1? 3
KevinM Posted July 18 Posted July 18 t's not a model now but I have been bidding for six years trying to get something like this and it was 275+auction fees+shipping=350 the gun brand new is 582 so I am good. 2

KevinM Posted Wednesday at 04:14 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:14 PM The actual piece arrived at the doorstep the other day via the USPS.The trigger on this piece is much smoother and lighter than either the SF 1911 or my 38SP Snub Nose methinks 3
ScottsGT Posted Thursday at 01:34 PM Posted Thursday at 01:34 PM So, you getting the .45 Colt cylinder for it? Back when I was reloading (and shooting) I loaded a lot of cowboy loads for my Ruger Vaquero and my Uberti 1866 using Trailboss power. Then it mysteriously disappeared from the market. Hodgdon says it’s coming back by this fall though. I still have quite a few reloads in the ammo case though.

I will eventually Scott on the back burner for now the cyl cost more then the gun ATTM.I have to many irons in the fire right now so will play with the cap/ball experience for now but she sure has a nice balance.
belugawhaleman Posted Thursday at 04:15 PM Posted Thursday at 04:15 PM Very nice😀 I had a Colt SAA in .45 Colt and a Repro Colt '47 Walker at one time. I also had Webley Mk.IV in .455 all very fun to shoot! 1
