GusMac Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Looks great Jeroen. The colour is really interesting, it's almost got a sort of pearlescent effect to it which looks very effective. Gus 1
rieser Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Don't expect to see too many of those built. Solid effort! Close to the home stretch now.
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted November 16, 2015 Author Administrators Posted November 16, 2015 Okay how did you do the dents?? At first with a sharp blade. The sharp dents i smoothed out with a soft fine nail-pad file.
mywifehatesmodels Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Turning out great, Jeroen! Now, if we only had a 1/32 G4M, from which to hang it! John 2
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted November 17, 2015 Author Administrators Posted November 17, 2015 Turning out great, Jeroen! Now, if we only had a 1/32 G4M, from which to hang it! John That would be a great subject for HK Models. Or HPH... they don't seem scared easily of big subjects
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted November 18, 2015 Author Administrators Posted November 18, 2015 Doing the decals. Already put the window masks back on. Couldn't resist checking... 1
One-Oh-Four Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Looks good! Does the kit come with a cart or something to pose the Ohka on? This really looks like THE kit one should build as one's very first resin project! Maybe I should buy one before delving into the Me 410 or the L-39! 1

Administrators JeroenPeters Posted November 19, 2015 Author Administrators Posted November 19, 2015 Just a few more small decals to go! Then to seal it all in. Washes. Matt varnish. Getting there... The light discolorment at the rear red line is temporarily and caused by the Micro sol. 4
kahunaminor Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Stunning Jeroen, great workmanship and made to look so easy! Thanks for sharing,
GusMac Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Looks great Jeroen. Just as a matter of interest, any tips as to how you keep those decals sooo straight? My efforts always end up looking like they've been painted by a drunk on the deck of a rolling ship! Gus 1
rieser Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Don't they just light up once the markings start going on. Looking great Jeroen. The trolley's a little ripper too.Cheers, Ralph.
Wouter Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Doing the decals. Already put the window masks back on. Couldn't resist checking... Ha, that's the best part of any build. The moment when you can remove the window masks and see it all coming together. Looking top notch as ever Jeroen!
Dave J Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Its almost as beautiful as you are Jeroen! 1

Administrators JeroenPeters Posted November 22, 2015 Author Administrators Posted November 22, 2015 Cool cool cool. what wash were you using? AK or Ammo I suspect? AK and Ammo actually. Applied matt varnish and adding scratches now. I use a large toothpick to tighten up the washes around the window frames. 2
