Administrators Clunkmeister Posted September 15, 2018 Administrators Share Posted September 15, 2018 Hubert, I thought of you when I was looking at my HPH Lunak kit. Civilian scheme and racing stripes...
HubertB
Well, I have resumed work on my Gee Bee duo, but I am thinking of starting another build, of an iconic WWII aircraft, in a VERY cool civilian scheme The only indication I will give at this time is that the kit is one of Trumpeter’s best ... Harv No ... (besides, the F6F is one of Trumpeter’s worst ..., and I said « best ») Ok, one more clue : probably « inspired » by a smaller scale kit of a famous Japanese manufacturer ... HubertB
A double ration of hazelnuts for Martin ! A cool scheme, isn’t it Martin ? Apparently Signal Blue fuselage, with Silver dope wings, and a white fin and rudder. Arctic decals have produced a 1/32 sheet for this one, with Alps-printed decals or masks for the larger registration. G-AJVH now flies under LS 326 « L2 » of the Fleet Air Arm Museum. I started gluing the Vector Pegasus for it this morning, btw ... Hubert
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted September 18, 2018 Administrators Share Posted September 18, 2018 Very nice choice, although I would have thought for a civilian version, there is a multitude of Avenger options out there. You fooled me, although it's not too tough to do
Martinnfb
Very cool, arctic decals are hard to find. Yet, great choice of the type and marking Hubert.
