Carl, I don’t know how you do it.  Work from that “bench” that is.  🤣🤣

My OCD would have me taking meds if I tried working in that clutter.  You are truly a master of focusing on your work.

You saw the pair of F-4s under the FW190 I take it.

For me, I think it may be ADHD. Our youngest was diagnosed with it and after reading through the reports and of course his behaviour, there's a lot of similarities between us.

I'll probably do a tidy up session once the Sheridan and FW are done and off the bench. Might even dig out the Sea Fury from under all the F-4 bits and get that done too.

Just got a call from the hospital about my lumbar injection I was supposed to get Monday.  Due to staffing issues they have bumped me to Dec 2nd.
Well that settles it for me. I was going to wait until late next week to get started, but the heck with it.  Time to get back on the bench on this rainy fall day.

Well, I cannot believe what I did.  I started cleaning things up for the Quinta details and just discovered that I ordered the set for the Trumpeter kit. D’OH!!
Another set ordered…..Off to work on other areas of the kit.

…..I’m such a big dummy.

Seen worse - I once had a physics professor who's 'filing system' was a pile of paper 3 feet high in the middle of his office. The amazing thing was if you asked him for something he just used to dive into the middle of it and come out with what you'd asked for. None of us could ever work out how the hell he did it! 😆

Actually the Sheridan is on the port wing of my Sea Fury. Godzilla got moved to the pile of open kit boxes. His tail kept getting in the way.

For those keeping count (or trying to), here's everything on the bench:

- ZM He219

- Academy CF-18

- Tamiya F4U1-A

- Border Tiger 1 early

- Minibase Su-33

- Special Hobby Whirlwind

- Fisher Sea Fury

- RFM Sheridan

- ZM RF-4EJ

- ZM F-4G

- Hasegawa FW190A-5

Organized chaos..

The XIV conversion and the Vosper are back in their respective boxes. As is the Stratos and Magach. So technically not on my bench.

Hope it's industrial sized.

My work space is definitely the most crowded it's been.

Scott, might be best to avert your eyes. Don't want o give you a coronary....

I've just wanted to build something...so anything has been fair game.

Like I said, I'll most likely clean up once I get a few of these projects done.

Now I will admit, my garage work benches and the top of my tool chest looks like Carl’s bench.  Mostly because they’re just used for storage because I never found a “place” for the junk in the new home when we moved in 3.5 years ago.

Funny, my tools are all sorted and away in an organized manner. So the flipside.

I'm with you on that one, I clear my bench after every modelling session and still lose parts.

Cheers

Inside my box is very well organized. It’s just any flat horizontal surface that faces the wrath of a slob.  I call them HSC’s.   Horizontal Sh** Collectors.
