Impressive!
When I built my F-35 last year I did a really impressive bronze finish on the exhaust.  For the life of me, I cannot remember how I did it.  Damned old age kicking in.

It's a Bandai Gouf Custom. Same kit that I built recently.

Looks like Martin has followed me down the rabbit hole known as Gunpla.

Looks cool Martin, isn´t it fun to leave the comfort zone sometimes.

Cheers Rob

Thank you Rob. Absolutely agreed, it is tons of fun. I’ve been on it for a couple of days, not exactly sure about the final placement. At first I was planning to place it as a derelict of war rotting at the bottom of a forest creek bed, second scenario would be an overhaul at the service depot bay and finally a monument of war in a park like settings with kids playing around. The last one appeals to me a lot. I might go that route, just need to do some clean up and detailing which would be required for such setting.
nevertheless I am ever so thankful to Carl for his immense help, he’s been such a gem of a friend, guiding me along.

The other 1/72 109 I was working on around Christmas.  G-10. I realized I would never get both done in time, so it got sidelined. Until now.IMG_2500.thumb.jpeg.e7e19f1c49265e0fb88bd715d27bd948.jpeg

A tiny bit of work on the Magach. I glued the return rollers and some other random stray parts on after having watched them float around my spray booth for the last while.

At least this way I won't lose them.

That looks really promising.

I'm 0 for 3 on building an M60 family of tank kits. This try #4 so hopefully I make it to the end.

I spent at least six hours over this beast and it feels like nothing changed

I see lots of progress compared to the pics you showed me earlier. But yeah, sometimes it feels like you're not getting anywhere.

What's new on my bench is a lot less of a mess. Spring time, so I took the opportunity to buy a new shelf from Ikea and move a bunch of stuff up onto it to free up some bench space.

Very organized. I also have a similar magnifying lamp. an absolute must for working smaller scale👍.

This looks like an F1 sterile build bay compared to that other guys desk! Lamo.

Missed these first go around on the P-39 even though they were staring me in the face from the ref pics...

There is an inner panel that covers the inside of the wing and the inner gear door hinges.

Should be hollow behind there but it's too late for that now.

And I added receivers so gluing those doors on will be nice and clean.IMG_2514.thumb.jpeg.fc3223f1cf6d4ecf76953d229a97343f.jpeg

And I souped up the door map pocket, gave it a bit more dimension since that door will be open.

Having received the decals and masks for a 1/32 Spitfire PR IV, I couldn't resist and chased the squirrel.

This is the Kotare Spitfire MkI kit with which I'm going to use the AIMS PR conversion set on. A quick test fit of the cockpit to figure what needs to be modded.

I drilled out the frame holes for good measure.
