Members Mikester Posted May 5, 2019 Members Posted May 5, 2019 Here's one I've been plugging away on for a few months, This was a restoration project. This was originally Robert Olejnik's "White 7". It suffered some significant damage in the move from Japan so I figured I'd strip it down and start from scratch since it was painted incorrectly and I was never completely happy with it. Done as a Bf 109F-2 of 7./JG 54 piloted by Oblt. Max-Helmuth Ostermann in September 1941. Decals: Aeromaster Paint: Mr. Color CMK Resin Wheels EagleParts Spinner Trumpeter Propeller Blades I also used some landing gear struts from a 21st CT kit since the originals were snapped off and broken during the move. 10
Martinnfb Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Marvel as always, Mike your models are tastefully crisp and realistic. Nice photography as well. Thanks for sharing. Cheers M. Spoiler 3
Wumm Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Nicely done for a do-over, Getting that solid yellow coverage is always problematic, but you've done well. And how old are those decals? Fantastic job 3
