GusMac
Seems a bit extreme! Didn't look too offensive?! I'm sure you have a plan though.

Jeff
Very cool build.............. I learned the other day, by sheer accident, that Flettner himself was brought to the USA during operation Paperclip, and became the lead designer at Kaman..................... when I saw that it was an .......... ah duh ........... moment.......... I had no idea.... duh.... 1
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted February 23, 2020 Author Administrators Share Posted February 23, 2020 indeed. A very interesting individual. His sail-less ships being another great invention of his. 4
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted February 27, 2020 Author Administrators Share Posted February 27, 2020 Small steps. Photo etch panels primed. This really is a great but challenging little model. 4
DocRob
Very nice and clean work Jeroen, I've not much love for building helicopters, but this might be an exception. You can feel that the Flettner is not far from the drawing board, it looks rough and unrefined, in other words interesting. I can understand that it is a demanding kit, one of the kind 'where can I touch it while handling' Cheers Rob 2
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted March 1, 2020 Author Administrators Share Posted March 1, 2020 Thnx Rob, it is indeed a model that makes it difficult to handle. The fit of the upper panels was a bit fiddly but it’s on. 3
