Absolutely lovely work Oliver, brings me back to my early years when I use to drool over all of the crazy detailed dioramas in the Verlinden books.

Cheers

And you questioned your abilities and skill with armor. Nothing could be further from reality.

I have questioned myself  at every step with this build.  Thanks Pete.

Started on the tail rotor. A lot of masking on this. I had to take extra care when pulling the tape not to break the fragile PE parts. Next is some chipping and a wash. The tail rotor on the H 34 is pretty clean  compare to other helicopters since the engine exhausts are on the front of the helo.

Agreed and with the truck portion of the dio competed, so you could return to working your magic on the H-34

Beautiful work on the tail rotor painting and weather - so greatly appreciated the 'how-to' images.

I got the mat from a reptile place.

Pete, dont know about next choice. Will proceed with this and will see how it looks. Never done anything this big of ground work before so again outside my comfort zone, you got to push your limit.
I made a frame of the truck if I need to add some tire marks since I don't want to use my truck to do it.

preview of the figures.
