  8. Fantastic effort Ben but the third rivet from the left on the tail trim tab looks over sized!!! Are you sure that's correct, lol??? I'm sorry I couldn't help myself. lol!! Love the chipping around the engine inlets. I just bought Vallejo Chipping Medium so hope to practice this weekend with it!
  9. Installed the rocket hard points last night before going to bed! Installed the two Napalm drop tanks this evening and finished priming. 10. I think you're spot on so far Arno!! Fantastic workmanship!!
  11. I agree Arno 1/35th would be the way to go. You could raise the cockpit slightly with earth to compensate for the height difference I suppose?
  12. Finally after almost a solid week of seam work the A-1A made it down to the paint ship for a coat of primer!
  13. Let me be the first to say congrats and thank you for such an insightful review.\ As you said, " The sheer level of detail here seemed to have not only raised the bar significantly, but also put Airfix back into a newly realised and significant position as a premier injection moulded model manufacturer" and I agree! It's a wonderfully done kit and one I should consider building in the future. Thanks again Jim!
  14. I've never seen an aluminized aircraft looks so real!! Hats of to you Jeroen on an incredible build!!
  15. Very easy project Erick. Took me about an hours to build.
  16. Another vintage kit and a favorite of mine! Matchbox 1/32 Lysander Mk 1-111. Decals or trash but the rest of the kit is new condition. Looking forward to building this kit!
  17. Continued today with cleaning up the seams and changing out the cheesy plastic 22MM gun barrels with brass barrels. Also worked a bit on the cockpit. Should be ready for primer this week! New brass 20MM gun barrels! Detailing the bare cockpit!
  18. Try "I bought it on sale" or "It was half price on Ebay", lol!!!
  19. Thanks for the informative review review Jeroen!!
  20. Possibly so Paulster. I hadn't researched it before posting and only assumed they were 50s but 20MM makes more sense!
  21. Looks great Lyle. We're pretty close as I live in Woodstock, GA! I build upstairs in what use to be my home office when I was a working stiff, retired in 2013!! And I display in the basement, lol!! Hopefully finishing he drywall install, apply the mud, sand and paint in September and then false ceiling in October!!
