  1. Great photos with your new camera and fantastic finish on the 109's. I really like the desert chamofluge version! I have several nice digital cameras but take all my pictures with my I-Phone. Ralph.
  2. Nice work Jan. Love the weathering. did you do the aluminum paint chipping using a dry brush? Ralph.
  3. LOL Tom!!! Thanks for the tire tip and the ironing shirt advice. I'm anxious to try this on my Ju88 and future builds. Really like the look. Thanks again. Ralph.
  4. Lord you guys just keep coming up with stuff I need to buy, lol!!!
  5. Not sure yet as I'm working on my Ju88 but I did pick up some 1/32 aftermarket Tiffy decals on eBay just in case. The kit is Revell # 85-4663 1996 depicting a Hawker Typhoon Mk 1B "Mavis" flown by Flg. Off. LWF "Pinky" Stark, No. 609 Squadron based at Manston early 1943. That's how I will build it. Ralph.
  6. Two recent wins from eBay to add to may stash!!
  7. Found this very informative article on the Typhoon/Tornado at http://axis-and-allies-paintworks.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?5494
  8. Well congrats to you.
  9. Wow love the look of the weighted tires. Up until now I haven't tried that but will on the Ju88. Is there any special technique to doing that? Ralph.
  10. Thanks James I'll take you up on your kind offer!
  11. Good Lord no wonder it has a $275.00 to $300.00 US price tag!!! You get everything including the kitchen sink, lol! I bit pricy for my mosel budget but I will enjoy watching your build James. Really interested in hearing what building in resin is like. I ordered a nose conversion for my upcoming Ju88A-6 nightfighter build which is resin so will get an introduction with it. Thanks for the fantastic review as it was most informative. Ralph
  12. I have the Revell 1/32 He 111P kit that I'm saving until my skill set improves but I'll never reach the skills needed to achieve a build like this!!
  13. Very nice! Like the color scheme!
  14. Fabulous effort James but would love to see more pictures of your BF110 build so I can grade mine against yours plus I want to steal ideas from you, lol!! Is that part of the Hess BF110? Ralph.
  15. What do you seal with before installing decals?
  16. Just found this fantastic review on the kit I just bought. Great review Jim and thank you for all the interesting details!!! I was completely enlightened to all the features in this new Revell offering. My skill set has improved since building the older 1:32 Ju 88A-1 kit so I look forward to using those new skills on this kit for the GB. Thanks again for this informative review. Ralph.
  17. Wow very nice!
  18. Like everyone I'm speechless. Your craftsmanship is amazing!! I have never seen such beautiful detail! Fabulous effort!!!

  20. Very nice work! Really like the camouflage color scheme.
  21. I served with the 40th ARRS at NKP Thailand flying HH53 Super Jolly Green Giants and just ordered a 1/48th scale HH53 via eBay along with a JU88A-4. Look forward to building both. Ralph
  22. Thanks for the info as it is very helpful. I have a large learning curve ahead of me with this new airbrush figuring all the mixes etc! Ralph
  23. Hey my Neo airbrush is here along with my JU88 nose conversion kit and seat-belts!! Hope to start my new build next week.
  24. Thanks for this Kent. The first link was exactly what I was looking for! Looking forward to using my new airbrush!
  25. My Neo airbrush should arrive today so I'm shopping for WW2 German Tamiya paint colors. What are the most commonly used upper and lower fuselage colors, interior colors, propeller and spinner colors etc? I notice yellow was also used system wide to note squadrons and theaters. There are a few good deals on eBay for a mixed choose of either 5 or ten bottles. Also I would assume a good quality thinner from Home Depot could be used to thin? As always and suggests would be greatly appreciated. Ralph
