Anglo-Saxons were the Anglons and Saxons who went from North-West Germany, North-East Netherlands (although there lived mostly Frisians) and Southern Denmark to Britain. In Dutch the are known as the Angelen and the Saksen, giving birth to the combined name of the Angelsaksen.
