  2. Mighty fine looking bird!
  3. Not an upate, really. I just "moderated" my own WIP from Arrow Wolf's Messerschmitt GB to the general Aircraft WIP-forum. I didn't finish the model in time and as such I feel that this WIP shouldn't stand between those magnificent WIP's from the others that were finished in time... At this moment, the build is still on hold since I'm busy with a score of other projects as I've posted in post #18. But as Arnie Schwarzenegger and MacArthur said: "I'll be back!"
  4. Hi Joe, Does this help? http://www.jpsmodell.de/dc/schemes/sac86_e.htm Cheers, Erik.
  5. Wow, that looks really good! Congrats on a beautiful model!
  6. Heheh, good!! And, yeah, it's Erik!
  7. YEAH! Baby Doll!
  8. Thanks for the advice, Matt! I'll get some of the Eduard sets too! I expect this'll be a "only once" model, so why not go the whole 9 yards?
  9. Switching from Luftwaffe pins back to the Pacific GB: I bought some stuff to highlight the Dutch participation in this theatre. Since I already have Hasegawa's P-40N with the goodies I need I purchased the HK B-25J Glass nose with the Profimodeller nose weight ( I know, not too hard to do by one's self but what's easier than putting in the right amount of weight that's already made to fit?), the Profimodeller .50 barrel set A (this set contains the flash-hiders on the fuselage-mounted .50's), the SAC landing gear (I'm not really fond of these products but I guess it's just neede to carry the weight of the kit), the HGW PE seats with belts & buckles, the Brassin wheel set and Squadron's Walk-Around. For markings I'll use Flevo Decals' set 32-008 "ML-KNIL 1942-1947 Pt. 2. I also purchased the Special Hobby "Dutch & Japanese model 339C/D Buffalo". That one requires almost no additional aftermarket. I'll only use the aforementioned Flevo Decals to replace the orange triangles with the Dutch tricolor. After Japan commenced hostilities, this was done because it was feared that the orange triangle would be too easily confused with the Japanese Hinomaru. For background info I'll use Dutch Decal's Dutch Profile Brewster B-339C/D/23. So it seems I have my work cut out for me!!!
  10. Are you watching RTL Boulevard (Dutch gossip TV-show) while building?
  11. Great review guys! Gets me itching to build one!
  12. There are 3 kicking off in the Pacific GB area!
  13. Wow, Anzo, that looks really good! Very delicate work!
  14. I did order from LuckyModel. I'm afraid the Dutch guv'mint is on to them, though.... Although I ordered 2, one for a friend. That makes a package that is somewhat hard NOT not notice.... I already have a Z-M Mustang.... But maybe if the deal's special enough....
  15. But this baby arrived today - after parting with a customs fee.....
  16. Ey John! Good to see you here, too! Looking super! Cheers, Erik.
  17. Hey, thats nice! Arigato, Rog-san!
  18. Looking very nice ajcmac! Dirty where the plane can get dirty and restrained on the rest! Compliments! Cheers, Erik.
  19. You know where I could get those? I don't have sizes or artwork for examples...
  20. Although I got quite far with the cockpit I still haven't made photos I can share. Totally my fault. However, since I'm not going to be able to finish this kit before the deadline of the GB, I'll suspend the build for the moment. Át the moment I'm more interested in the Pacific and Korea. So I'll switch over onto building the Trumpeter AD-4 Skyraider and the Spitfire LF Mk.VIII. When work on this model resumes I'll relocate the thread to the regular WIP-forum if that's okay with Grant. I feel it's better to work on a subject that you are motivated for than keep chomping away at a model "because it has to be finished"... Everything is packed up neatly so I can pick up where I left at any moment I feel like it. Sorry to come up empty-handed Grant!
