  1. Rob and Danny, Thank you! The engineering and fit of this kit were amazing, but that clear plastic wasn't so fun. I had learned my lesson from the Horten, avoided oil-based washes (the thinner eats through the plastic), and used pastels instead. Cheers, Tom
  2. This is the Zoukei Mura Pfeil, built with Liquid Gravity (thought I had enough added, found I had to drill a hole through the fuselage and fill the entire forward engine cavity), Tamiya custom mixed paints, Maketar Masks, and tender loving care. The fit, detail, and engineering are absolutely unsurpassed, but ZM kits will mostly appeal to those who like seeing the detail as they build it, content that it will disappear as assembly continues...My only criticism (often stated) is the clear parts. I have yet to see one of these built transparent, aside from the ZM prototype builds. I'm looking forward to building the HE 219 next! Cheers, Tom
  3. Sweet! Really nice work with the build, painting, and riveting. I'm following your lead with riveting, but I'm still on the lookout for references for this. Thanks for sharing your work. Cheers, Tom
  4. Danny, I've loved seeing your build progress, and the done deal was absolutely worth waiting for! Cheers, Tom
  5. Very nice work! I don't see many of the D-11's built, and you did a great job with the conversion. Cheers, Tom
  6. Pete, Sensational start! "The Force is strong with this one." Cheers, Tom
  7. Oz, Thank you! I loved the build, but that was my favorite part. Cheers, Tom
  8. James, Thanks for your review, it inspired me to build mine! Cheers, Tom
  9. VERY nice work! The riveting and weathering look right on, and it's great to see your build take shape. Cheers, Tom
  10. Thank you! I thought I should go a different way than what the default ZM markings suggested... Thank you very much! After building the 1/48 Dragon kit oh so long ago, I was really pleased to get the opportunity to build this kit, and James Hatch's review sold me. Cheers, Tom
  11. Jeroen, Thanks! I am a big fan of your builds, and your rendition of this aircraft inspired me to build mine. Cheers, Tom
  12. Rick, thank you! I would love to see your work with this kit. Also, correction made! Cheers, Tom
  13. This is my rendition of “Green 4”, the TA-152H-0 now residing in the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy restoration[edit: NASM Silver Hill] facility in Virginia, USA. The wonderful Zoukei Mura kit, which is a big improvement over the original issue H-1. I just added rivets, masks, and a custom blend of Tamiya paints for RLM 76, 81, 82, and 83. Hope you like it, and Happy New Year! Cheers, Tom
  14. It definitely looks the part! Really inspiring work. Happy Holidays, Tom
  15. Rick, Great work with the build, finish, and weathering! Happy Holidays, Tom
  16. Oz, Great start! I built the Revell kit and can testify to the size. The ZM kit takes it all to another level. Thanks for sharing! Cheers, Tom
  17. Very impressive, that rear canopy looks great. You have some serious skills! Cheers, Tom
