Sounds interesting, Ralph. I well remember them back in the day at CFB Cold Lake. What decals are you planning on using , out of curiosity?

I love the ‘rising sea levels’ thing. Scott , you are so right. IF the seas rise the banks (financial ones )would RUN away. It is such B. S. about the seas ‘rising’. Ice expands, when it melts there is no way it can take up MORE space as water than it did as ice. Simple experiment is to fill a glass with ice, then top it off with water to the top of the glass and then sit back and watch the ice melt. The melted water will not go over the top of the glass. Never. So with that info lets go and buy some fancy beach front at a cheap deal from folks who think they are gonna get washed into the ocean !🙄😆maybe a deal to be had. Jeff

I totally agree with Martin and Peter. This is a really epic build. And as Peter said , sorting out the issues as well. Seems to me , your sorting is absolutely on the right track. And the decaling is superb. Not sure if I missed it or not , but what decal softener did you use ? Did I miss that part? Excellent work, Rob. Jeff -

I’m so sorry to hear this. I think of him often and miss him here. As , with everyone else I wish him only the best and am looking forward to his recovery and return to us happy and healthy. Ernie, give him my best wishes and he is in my prayers. Thanks for the update. Jeff

As a kid it was funny and as an adult it is hilarious. Because now we can relate to some of the work issues and Art Carney was a fabulous actor. It was clean wholesome comedy with no overtones of any sort. Refreshing in today’s world.

Seriously you guys ??? Geez I’m not that old. I thought EVERYONE knew the Honey Mooners’ .. its actually back on late night. I will try to keep my posts to something more contemporary. Sorry guys.

It was a joke from a tv show from the ‘50’s called the ‘Honey Mooners’ starring Jackie Gleeson, Art Carney, Audrey Meadows and Joyce Randolph. Gleeson played Ralph Kramden and his wife played by Meadows was Alice. And Ralph wud get mad and always say ‘ to the moon Alice to the moon’ ….

I agree with you ,Peter. I have seen some aircraft so heavily weathered, if it were a real airplane, it would have been so heavy it never would have got off the ground. This weathering is spot on. As always, John’s talents shine. Jeff

I have to agree with the Herc model. It represents our Air Force when we had an Air Force and when we had the nicest , sharpest, cleanest Air Force anywhere. Instantly recognizable and proud personnel. Our birds were beautiful. Not just blah grey like today. It was very rare to see a dirty RCAF/CAF ever.

Carl was the Bras d’Or scratch made? That is very cool of a little known Canadian subject. Your pics are great. Thanks for getting them and thinking of us. Jeff
