No kidding, sometimes I think if we went back in with old technology, and I mean old....we might take them by surprise..................what do you suppose the Taliban would so if the saw a couple squadrons of Beaufighters, Typhoons, and Mosquitoes low and fast spitting hot steel at them?? They would probably stop in their tracks and look in wonderment seconds before they met their 70 odd virgins, not knowing what the Hell just happened...... THAT would be a kick in the nads eh?

And like they say on Dragon's Den.............. " For those reasons I'm out"........................... wow that makes perfect sense, and from a business point of view, it is about maximizing your profits ( or you wouldn't BE in business) For, me, andI'm sure others as well, when we see these big collections, it seems like it is the dream we have all had, you know the one, finding many coins or dollar bills, and then waking up to have to go pee at 3 am....this is sorta the same, BUT most of us never think of it in the real day light practical terms.....and the storage, packing, separating, cataloging, shipping etc, is monumental, and costly..... she needs someone to help her sell the collection , like in small lots , but someone who knows what is there and what is valuable and what isn't..... like was mentioned earlier, I'm sure if she doesn't know, some unscrupulous individual will take advantage...... I hope not, but we know how some guys work..................... interesting perspective 1 to 1......

Ernie, I'd give a "like' to that post but apparently I'm all out.................... yeah , but still there is a ton of stuff there, I'd love to have that new B24 liberator Hasegawa/Eduard Raiders of the Night kit, and it is really expensive, and this guy has 2 of them..... incredible collection. And I totally hear you on the accurate version and no Bovine Excrement needed, but for me , it is a storage issue after they are built......IF I didn't have to consider the CEO of the household here, my models would be all over the place, even the 'what not shelf', but....... well you know.....so I am mostly confined to smaller stuff, due to that ...................except for the Mossie and Spitfire, I have on the go.. , and again I'm fairly lucky, we live rurally and not many buses, although I should be wary of the snowplows....... still some very cool stuff there...... wide variety of sorts.... and for the record, I still haven't got the balls for a resin kit............................I'm too timid ? LOL
