FWIW.................. I just wish this would stop and we can go back to 'normal', NOT the "New Normal" ( for the record, I HATE that term) just back to a simple life....... back to the days of Opey and Andy Griffith, Raw Hide, My Three Son's, Gilligan's Island................... you remember, back to when we are ALL innocent, and the worst thing was if Betty didn't notice us in class or on the sports field, or our math home work wasn't done after a weekend of bike riding with your buddies..................................... the good old days................ I digress though..... -
Happy Birthday Wolf from the Kootenays !!

The , what I would call the 'cab gusset ', as to where Steve has it located, which I agree with , I would say, yes to your assumption, but I would tape it there and try it to make sure it fits correctly, but I would say Steve has it spot on...... Bigger P/E good for your eyes too -

Steve............. would that actually be a cab gusset, ? for integral strength of the lower cab body needed for when lifting the cab, it holds everything together... part of the cab integrity..... that is my first thought, and I think you are right on with the location.... -

Steve, as soon as I saw the red engine, I thought, Detroit 60 Series, then red your notes, 600 Cummins, I bet that baby has some wild torque.... are a lot of the newer trucks in Oz Automatic transmissions these days as they are starting to get to be here now? I really like the tail gate locks on the Mack , here all we have is one of those locks on each side of the tailgate, that can get bent and bound up, and usually just when you need to be precise and spread gravel in front of the grader..... I like those locks way better than our setups. although I'm not sure if they would last long here, as our guys ( where I worked) didn't give a damn and just lifted the box, and with pit run or shot rock just let it fly and bent more tail gates than you can imagine, ......... so that system would probably nor work here, I love it though... Looks like Gunnite automatic Slack adjusters, and I see even the caging bolts are still on the brake chambers...... our brake chambers, ( the ones on our trucks at where I used tow work ) don't seem to carry a caging bolt any more......not sure why.... and we all know there are days when we need those.... awesome photos.... -
I don't have this kit, but if it doesn't exist, how would a guy mount the front pintle hitch? That's kind of a strange, to not include it in the kit......................... hhmmmm

I'd say it looks dead on ......

All the old ones I ever operated had all sorts of wires and stuff twisted around the outside of the pipe, and under the roof, usually not tied up quite tight enough for a guy to hang himself if not careful getting onto the machine....

I just hope I'm not the guy pooping into the fan !

Happy Birthday, my good friend !!!!!

For my 2 cents worth, I would leave the ring as is, because there would be a gasket there and /or the paint would or could be rubbed off due to the gasket rubbing the paint off light housing over the years, I think it looks spot on ...................... as is...

I would LOVE to know the regs on line haul trucks in Oz..... axle weights etc... drivers licensing etc..... one thing I do notice, and correct me if I am wrong, I see on the air cleaners, a tall mounted pipe with the scoop mounted almost cab high, now I am assuming ( and we all know what happens with that) is the air intakes for the filters mounted high due to the red dust I always see on tv shows about Oz, I am assuming higher air intakes reduces the amount of dirt , dust and crap going through the filters.................... am I close?? We don't have that here in Canada ( I personally think they look cool ) and our air filters are just the plain ones with a lower intake..... -
