  1. Sure negates the camouflage doesn't it. Some exhaust stains for sure.
  2. Thanks Dennis.
  3. Thank you Gaz! Getting close to the finish line.
  4. Status as of today. All ready for the code masks. By the way, if you click on the pictures it comes up a bit sharper, etc.
  5. How the heck did I miss this one??? Looking really good! No doubt it will be a stunner when done. Love those Corsairs by Tamiya.
  6. Thanks Carl. I don't recall having any problems with the wing folds BUT, I've slept since then! LOL Really, I think they worked out okay with few if any "problems".
  7. Thank you Harv! Unfortunately those photos were taken with my old camera so they just are not up to snuff. I'll re-shoot them one of these days.
  8. This is the only one I have completed.
  9. Thanks! I agree, I don't always see builds that are really nice and tend to stumble on them, etc.
  10. Thanks Dennis.
  11. I meant to post this when I finished the model but just remembered it. Bill Hess was a very good aviation author and a good friend. I was fortunate enough to do nearly all of his photo work in my darkroom. Sadly Bill passed a couple of years ago.
  12. Indeed Carl. In the meantime I can apply the roundels on the wings and the fin flash. Plus do a little touch up.
  13. Camo done. Now I can get started on the markings!
  14. Me too Peter! LOL
  15. I just today received my ICM A-26B kit. Sure looks good in the box! Very petite surface details, etc. Outshines Monogram/Promodeler and Must Have. Although Must Have has a lot of good details, etc. I'll have to build this 'un in the not-too-diatant future.
  16. Who cares?! LOL
  17. Thanks Peter. Unrealistic but understandable laws.
  18. One thing Jeff. DO NOT put thinned Xtracolor back in the tinlet or it will gel up after a short while. Learned the hard way! No clue as to why since you would think that wouldn't happen.
  19. Thanks! Heck no, easy peasy. Just a little masking and hit the wells with paint.
  20. Underside about done. Still need to paint the wheel wells.
  21. Remember to get a can of their thinner. It is best for their paint.
  22. You are too kind guys! LOL About the only way to get Xtracolor is find someone in England who will purchase it for you and send it. That has been my modus operandi for a good bit.
  23. LOL Lot's of experience and a good, but old, Passche airbrush.
  24. It's Xtracolor paint Jeff. Their paints are gloss and lay down nicely. I highly recommend them but they are a bit difficult to get stateside.
