Thanks Dennis! Me too! Until they do I will go on and use the messed up one.

No it's not cracked. I managed to get glue on the clear area when I was trying to attach the 2 rear "braces" (?). Both sides. I sent a email to the folks at Special Hobby so maybe they will send me a replacement. The front left side had a molding blemish right out of the box but I decided to work around it. Doesn't matter now. Thanks anyway Carl. 🤪

Sounds good Tim. I look forward to seeing it.

Looking very good!

True Kevin. It's coming along.

Good idea Peter! We'd have to stick to Tamiya and Hasegawa.

I wouldn't say "sailing right through it" but enduring the process! Getting those gear parts together is a test of patience to say the least! Very high cuss-factor for sure.

I'll start on the landing gear today Peter. Hopefully I won't have the problems that you encountered. We will see!

See what happens when you blink! LOL Thank you Phil!

LOL Yep, coming right along Gaz.

I was pleasantly surprised at the mostly good fit of everything. A few little spots that needed attention but not a big problem.

Thanks Dennis

Thanks Peter. Not a intentional "speed build", it just happened that way LOL.

I've decided to use the kit cannons Carl. I drilled out the muzzles and they look okay for use. Thanks again for the tip!

About ready to join the nacelles to the wings and then the wing assembly to the fuselage. (Thanks again to Carl for the heads up on the forward bulkhead/nacelle fix.)
-
Thank you Peter.

Cockpit about completed. Terrible instructions make a already tedious job even more tedious. Good thing I have some good photos of a Whirlwind cockpit.
-
I hope so Peter.
-
Thanks Dave. I'll check those out.

Guys I need a set of guns for this build. Quick Boost, CMK or any other manufacturer. Can someone recommend a source, preferably in the US? Thanks!!!!!!

The Whirlwind has always been one of my favorites too Dennis. I hope it turns out nice!
