  1. Put me in please! I'll contribute something as well, likely a new tool of some kind.
  2. As does Festivus! My celebration of choice! I'll parttake!
  3. I cleaned out my bench for 2 weeks of work. So when I get home I feel inspired? Well I'd like to think, but next time off will be a jumble, with some extra work days etc... Second picture show what is currently on the bench, with this baby obviously: Cheers H.
  4. No picture, but a full meal deal from Harv on one of my grail kits! the F-105D in 32nd!
  5. Have a couple LSP's on the go, this Westland Lynx is almost complete, just windshield wipers left, also a Revell Mustang. I won't be getting any more revell kits unless I win them (The Mustag was a raffle price from last Xmas). Cheers!
  6. I have the OV-10A partially built, but just awaiting a different project to complete before I carry on, and an F-86K in 32nd, the 2 Seasprites, a Dauphin, a Huey, a Jaguar and a Super Etendard in 48th. The OV-10 is decent, but require some work, and I hear the the F-86 requires patience and close scrutiny as not all instructions are correct. The kits are very nice in look but the 48th kits are very detail heavy and have what I consider unnecessary detailing such as a full engine and transmission on the Dauphin, that looks to be reasonably correct, but extremely fiddly to get to work... Now with that said, I'm mediochre at best and can only hope to do a decent job, but I'm sure, even though these are not Tamiya by any stretch, anyone can make a fairly decent model out of these with some patience and skill. I have seen Ernie's build of the T-28, and it looks really well made, so I believe from what I have gleaned from other fora, that it is a superb kit. Cheers and pardon the long waffling! H.
  7. Get well soon, we need builds!
  8. Glad they can fix your ticker Carl! @harv! I built that Sea Hawk in 1987 or 88 for my friend, think we may have blown it up after, but I loved it! I think it is a knock off from the Hasegawa Sea Hawk of the same vintage!
  9. HA! I build models of airplanes and helicopters I like, and would personally have loved to have flown. Aircraft that may have played part in books I have read. For me that spans an era from WW2 US/British to Modern, and mostly Single seat/Single Engine. I personally don't build axis aircraft but have been known to delve in Soviet subjets... Weird, I know. Vietnam to present fetures prominently, but WW2 to Korea does also exist, 32nd, 48th, and 72nd are the go to scales. Mostly 72nd because I can throw the model out withou feeling guilty if I screw up, which I do frequently. Which is also why i mostly stay avay from LSM because I feel not worthy, as I see some of the projects completed on this and other 32nd sites... Cheers H
  10. Now... Would it fit in a Sea Fury? As in a Hobbycraft with Fisher goodies (all except the engine...)
  11. Now I'm far away from an Expert, but if you can take the Kinetic/Italeri's somewhat crude detail, it does build into a nice kit. There are also sometimes, some AMS parts available for it, including a cockpit. I build a Canadian Mk.6 withou adding anything to it, and it looks like a Sabre!
  12. Drummers are awesome! John Bonham is my master! Hugs from Icy cold Canada
  13. My meager contribution to the tread: Doggo, he is my wife's best buddy, but he hangs with me when I'm home and wife is at work! Revell Mustang.... Not a great kit, but it looks like a 'stang! Revell Lynx.... Decals are total ass... I hate them. with a passion. Cheers! Harald (Winnie)
  14. Trumpeter F-105D with all aftermarket... and Tamiya F-4E with same. In a fit of desperation and lack of funds I so;d them, and haven't replaced either yet...
