  1. Just got a Trumpy Mustang III, instrument panel, seat belts and new sticks for my 24th Spitfire, including norgie decals from 132nd wing North Weald. Also ordered Top Notch masks for the spit in 32nd, 24th, Lanc in 32nd, and Vulcan in 72nd!
  2. Awesome paintscheme! Looking forward to this one!
  3. I can't help it, this is the most beautiful helicopter ever. I'm slightly biased I suppose, but it just is.
  4. Your skill and tempo is impressive! Another fantastic build~
  5. Speaking of the DO-24 Diesel, there is one of those in Norway...
  6. Wow, superb job! An inspiration for sure! As the days are getting longer, I can get back to mine! I got some aftermarket for it, the Look set and the mask set, so I'm all good to go!
  7. Went to Kansas City, visited the mother-ship (Spruebros). got some aftermarket for 3 of my kits! Hurricane gets an instrument panel, masks and seat belts!, Spitfire gets masks and seat belts, lanc gets masks!
  8. Harv, GET WELL SOON! Feels like yelling it helps. Anyway, thinking of you in Kansas City.
  9. Begs the question if ya folk knows what a "Wisconsin Waterfall" is...?
  10. it's not supposed to look that way! Looks like a very early one, what happened?
  11. nope! It's a Westland license built machine, so all fasteners are 11/32nd not 3/8ths... Also there are a few differences on the fuselage, like a bulge on the doghouse for the AC generator, and a few equipment exhausts on the starboard side below the pilots window. Amongst others! However, I will be able to build three different Norwegian versions, and also 6 or so RAF and RN ones! Cheers H
  12. Since it was announced, several crates of the Westland Sea King by Airfix. Well at least a box of them...
  13. I got the 24th Spitfire from AIrfix, a Gr.4 Tornado from Italeri, and a KH F-86K!
  14. Do you have a wear "gap" in the 'stache now, like Ron Swanson?
  15. I did my best, but I failed. I got so busy with work, trailer, golf, summer, that I haven't touch a glue bottle in 3 months...
  16. I'm thinking on the Takom AH-64D and probably an ICM CH-54... Other than that, othing new release. Perhaps a Tamiya Mozzie if I ever see one.
  17. Wow, just amazing fast progress. I have one in the stash, I guess one of these days I'll have to man up and build it! Is there any way to do one wing folded and one normal? Cheers H
  18. It's Grumman Iron Works... The A-6, F-14, and E-2/C-2 share most of the gear system.
  19. Tamiya has a EXTRA strong decal solution. It MAY help. I struggled severely with the decals for my Lynx build a couple years back... Revell kit as well.
  20. Got back a couple days ago from run one of away-duties. so slapped some paint on the undercarriage and engines. the engines will be clsoed in so not much to be seen, but there are 2 holes in the cowl. a bit of practice for me then! Still lots of detail parts to go through. Cheers Harald
  21. Looking good. I like all the new aftermarket too. Probably going to need some issues like HGW and Red Fox...
  22. Ah! If you "YouTube" check out "The Modeling Shed", Steve, the modeller in question just completed a 32nd 'Mozzie' from Tamiya. worth the watch!
  23. Here is the youtube video from Jenesis Designs and Modelcraft
  24. In my opinion it's an A-team effort for sure. Solid steel undercarriage... Details are good and not overstated and the fit so far has been ok. There will be some filler needed under the intakes, and typical Trumpeter every single hatch that can be opened is... But I give it a strong B- so not altogether bad.
  25. Don't worry, the Iron Tadpole isn't forgotten! Small progresses made. Going to try to mate the engines today, before I go away for 2 weeks. Cheers!
