  1. John Nice going - just love anything from the Iron Works Gang. I'm assuming all the newer Eduard kits have the decals where the carrier film can be removed. I'm just wondering if the decals are marked in any way to know for sure, as I haven't seen it on any of the Eduard kits I have purchased recently.
  2. Dennis Thanks for sharing.
  3. The Seahawk kit has been boxed up and on its way to its new owner. Thanks guys for all the interest.
  4. HI Pete Thanks so much for your thoughts on how Diane is doing. PM sent.
  5. WOW - fantastic. They look spectacular.
  6. Danny Thank you for the well wishes for my wife Diane, as she is doing better and better every day. I never thought someone would want the kit for parts, but I still have it boxed up in the garage. If anyone wants the kit, it's theirs's for the cost of shipping.
  7. Rob Looking simply spectacular. Can't wait to see the Renault receive the checkered flag as she crosses the finish line.
  8. Scott Way to go .. some mighty fine modeling.
  9. Rob The old mojo is back and the juices are flowing. So far the P-38 has to be the best fitting kit I've ever built. Looking forward to following your NMF build n it too far down the road. Will be ordering the P-38J pretty soon.
  10. Thanks Chris Glad you're back on board. getting ready for the priming in the next few days.
  11. Scott Unfortunately, it's the only game in town.
  12. Scot Just insane how bad the Hobby Crap kit is but hang in there as the Sea Fury when done is a show stopper for sure.
  13. Rob WOW .. Glad you caved in and I'll be on board for the entire journey.
  14. Rob Nice work on the rear end portion of the Renault, details and paint work looks great. I'm right with you and just love Tamiya LP5 Semi Gloss Black and just as much, LP1 Gloss Black and LP3Flat Black - a perfect trio of the most needed blacks. Good call deciding to go with your own NMF/Chrome finish and some nice work on stripping the chrome off the parts with oven cleaner. I've tried this a few times and was very leery of the caustic fumes, wore a good mask and gloves, pretty dangerous stuff for sure.
  15. John Perfecto! Could have picked a more appropriate choice and build.
  16. I'll take the winter and snow over the heat and humidity. โ„๏ธโ›„

  21. Gus Congrats on your awesome build and well deserved win. ๐Ÿ†
  22. John Good decision on letting the build rest until you have a good build plan that solves all the fit issues now surfacing.
  23. Phil You're 100% correct, the Tamiya Mossie is anything but a tough, mojo killer and so complex, It's a gem, beautifully designed and Tamiya through and through.๐Ÿ†
