  1. Rob The gloss black base is looking mighty good and I've become a convert to using Tamiya LP-1 as well. Right with Martin wondering about the Eduard Rivet System.
  2. John They do look good for sure
  3. John Maybe so and my money is riding on you.
  4. John Nice start on the Revell Hurricane and certainly like your choice of markings. Whose seatbelt/ harnesses did you use. as they look really good?
  5. John Yup, the nose contours between the two kits is a far cry from being a nice fit. Surely is going to be a 'sheet plastic queen' and there is no doubt in my mind, you will work your magic and when done, will be looking spot on the money.
  6. Kriss Yikes, never heard of the company but the kit looks mighty good. Will be following with great interest.
  7. Thanks Phil Feeling better and had a follow up with my doctor yesterday and all seems to be OK now. I haven't tried the AK Camouflage Putty yet but it's on my list. I doubled checked the free hand cammo work early this morning and need to make a few small adjustments and it looks good and I should be ready for glossing and kit (Tamiya) decals). It's just hard getting used to working small again and air brushing needs to be done, ever so gently.
  8. Thanks Chris Very much appreciated. Pretty scary episode but I'm OK and feeling better.
  9. Carl Mighty nice progress and what a great way to fight the Carpet monster.
  10. Gaz Great looking museum ... enjoy the visit and walk through history. Always a boatload of inspiration to be found.
  11. Jon Just keep plugging away and the P-40 transformation will be a complete success.
  12. Rob Looking forward to following your progress and enjoying your touch on the P-38.
  13. Thanks John Shall do
  14. Thanks John. Today went pretty will with a lot of blood work scheduled over the next few weeks and we'll be zeroing on the new issues with their results. Feeling weel enough to spend some time at the bench tomorrow, finish up the cammo and do an update.
  15. Rob Awesome start and the details and Quita set look perfect. So far we went the same route and I'm hoping to finish my cammo work tomorrow with an update. I'm sure you are going to blow right by me and I'm looking forward to every update.
  16. Kev Brilliant build. One awesome Jug. 🏆
  17. Ernie Congrats on an awesome build - so very well done. Add of course, it's my kind of finish. 🏆
  18. One awesome weathered Birdcage, so very nicely done. Yup, it's a shame Tamiya has abandoned 32nd scale other then to continue to supply their already released kits and thank goodness, they are continuing to do that.
  19. Kev Nice work on the Trump Mig 3. She does look mighty good. 🏆
  20. John Just knew you would save the day and finish her in grand style. beautiful work on the tough Revell kit. 🏆
  21. Incredible work John .. I'm slowly catching up.
  22. Scott Awesome work for sure and one tough build. Incredible how they screwed up the landing light lenses.
  23. Just arrived and can't wait to dig into the build.
  24. John Right with you and completely agree. It's very hard to start working smaller and at our tender age, seeing all the details and smaller parts isn't easy and a new learning experience. Try air brushing a free hand cammo scheme on the P-38 booms - Now that's an experience for sure. Need to do a bit more and it's done and after I get to actually photograph it, I'll know how successful I was or how badly I failed. No bench time today as I have a doctor's appointment following up my Hsopital ER visit. 🤞
