  8. Bill Right with Martin and your efforts will come shining through with a beautiful, perfect finish. Keep 'em comin Peter
  9. Carl great to the Big Liberator back, front and center on the bench and underway again. Seats and canopy look good. Keep 'em comin Peter
  10. mark No doubt in my mind at all - you just needed a refill of modelling juices and mojo builder. Cammo work is looking brilliant. Keep 'em comin Peter
  11. John Amazing progress. looking so good Keep 'em comin Peter
  12. BW I learned my lesson with the Tamiya 1/12 F1 Ferrari 312T kit. I wanted to start and work on it as time allowed and didn't do my homework. I wound up buying an original kit form 1975 and I mean everything was from back then - old decals and no PE. I paid as much for the original kit as I would have for the re-release on ebay - shame on me. And of course, the best way is to keep an eye out and buy the kit when Tamiya releases any of the F1 1/12 scale kits you're interested in. I'm on the "notification list" so I won't miss it Keep 'em comin Peter
  13. Rob Seeing how quickly you have gotten your sealegs with wood ship modeling, I have no doubts the rigging will be perfect. Looking forward to following the 18ft cutter build. I’m guessing the planks are going to be a lot smaller then those used on the DoK. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  14. John Absolutely and I’m planning on building a few more 32nd scale kits this year. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  15. Rob The Renault has been on my radar since Tamiya announced the re-release and I’ll certainly be buying one. I have the Brabham in the stash and don’t want to miss the reissue so I don’t have to walk away from the insane eBay prices when the kit is no longer available. Keep ‘em com Peter
  16. John Perfect paint work as always. Looking so good. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  17. Kev Looking mighty good … all the blending has certainly achieved your goal. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  18. Rob What a modeling achievement; she is quickly becoming a show stopper and all the hard work, effort and sweat have paid off handsomely. The small 18ft cutter certainly will add even more eye catching details to the deck (which is brilliantly detailed already) and will quickly catch the views eye, as in a well composed photograph. Looking forward to the start of the cutter. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  19. Carl Looking mighty good and a perfect plan. In between builds or even in between stages, I’m now putting small parts and assemblies in plastic containers with lids and labeling the container, so I don’t keep losing parts. At 74, it’s easy to lose anything Keep ‘em comin Peter
  20. Mark Awesome choice and I'll be following all the way Keep 'em comin Peter
  21. Carl Looking mighty good. I'm hoping once done, it's back to the B-24. Keep 'em comin Peter
  22. John Got ya - we're the same age I believe me I know. Keep 'em comin Peter
  23. Gaz Awesome work on the tools - the details are looking so good. Keep 'em comin Peter
  24. Kev Looks spot on, as the pre-shading does it job perfectly - bringing out the details with just the right touch. Keep 'em comin Peter
  25. Rob Much appreciated. Took a bit of extra work to get to this point and I'm hoping from this point on it's downhill to the finish line. Once she is done and in the books, I'll need to finish the GT40 which isn't too far either from the finish line and then I feel the call of a 32nd scale aircraft kit. Thanks for the positive thoughts on Life Color paints - if needed, nothing now to worry about. Keep 'em comin Peter
